Hey everyone, today I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom to share 5 bump friendly outfits for the holidays. None of these outfits are maternity pieces so don’t you worry! A bump is not required! These looks will work for both pregnant and non-pregnant women and Nordstrom has endless options to accommodate both for the holiday season. Scroll through this post to see how I styled 6 different dresses for the holidays. And here is the best part— they’re all under $100 available at Nordstrom.
I own this Dolman Plissé Midi Dress in multiple colors. I bought it before I found out I was pregnant, but it works great to help conceal early pregnancy and it grows with your bump too. As for these Victorie Slide Sandals, I wear them all the time because what doesn’t go with clear? They’re my go-to shoes when I’m in a pinch. Also, I like the short block heel on heel them. I found both of these items at Nordstrom.
This cozy ribbed midi dress is perfect for Thanksgiving because it’s comfortable and chic all in one. I own it in 3 colors because it’s so comfy and wore it for my recent Friendsgivng. I suggest taking your normal size because there is plenty of give.

Good Morning everyone, Blake and I are so excited to finally share that we’re going to have a baby boy in April 2020. Even though Blake and I were convinced that it was a girl, we truly had no clue what the gender was. My assistant picked up the results from the doctor after I took a blood test and she was a vault for weeks. She wouldn’t even give us any kind of hints! I’m sure you could tell by my reaction that I was truly surprised. You can watch the full video below on my YouTube channel. The video includes the gender reveal party along some fun interviews and behind the scenes action.
On the day of the party, I listed some old wives tales gender prediction below for fun on my Instagram stories and took a poll. 70% of you said girl and 30% of you said boy! You can read through all of the old wives tales below:
Extreme nausea means girl! I experienced plenty of that! In fact, I threw up every day for 6 weeks straight with all-day nausea!
Adult acne means girl! I only experienced this from week 5 to week 9, but it has been fine since then!
Graceful means girl! Clumsy means boy! Honestly I’m always clumsy
Face weight gain means girl! I don’t personally see this, but others told me they think my face looks fuller!
Craving salty means boy! Craving sweet means girl! Honestly, my only cravings been pasta, Chick-fil-A, apples and ranch (not all together) so idk what that means! Maybe boy?
Moody means girl! Calm means boy! If anything I’ve been way more controlling than I normally I am, but I think that’s because I’m not used to having zero control over my body so I’m just trying to control everything else!
Carrying high means girl! Carrying low means boy! I’m still only a little over 14 weeks so I kind of just feel bloated all over!
Chinese calendar said girl!
Fetal heart beat rate over 150 means girl and under means boy! At 7 weeks the heart rate was 142 and then at 9.5 weeks it was 179! So who knows!
All of these old wives tales are just for fun! In the end, we’re just excited for a baby no matter the gender!
My Godchild wore pink, but her guess was a boy too!
Blake’s mom was wearing blue, but her guess was a girl!
Blake wore blue so we could we represent both genders, but his guess was a girl!
I can’t believe I’m going to be a boy mom! It’s so ironic because everyone who knows me knows that I’m such a girly girl so all you boy moms out there, your knowledge and experience is welcomed! I’m not worried about Blake though, he was always meant to be a dad! He actually lost his dad when he was young so I’m glad that he still gets to experience that father-son relationship he so deserves! We can’t wait to meet our baby boy to give him all the love we have to offer and more!
My assistant tested them out at her home first to make sure they worked and were the correct color!
We played around with the confetti in the yard for a while before hosing it all off! It is biodegradable, but there are still a few pieces floating around the backyard! LOL
Hey everyone, I hope you all had a nice weekend. I just landed in NYC for the week and I made sure to pack these Everlane jeans and boots to wear around the city. Speaking of these jeans, today I’m sharing my Everlane jeans review with you.
These high waisted jeans are such a great fit because because they’re nice and thick, but still very stretchy, which is perfect for me since I’m newly pregnant and truly enjoy the stretch aspect. Also, I’ve mentioned this before, but Everlane also offers their denim in an ankle length, which is ideal for my petite frame. These exact high rise skinny jeans also come in a mid blue color and range from sizes 23-35. Plus they’re super comfortable and the exposed buttons give the jeans an edgy vibe.
For size reference, I would go true to size in these jeans. I personally went up to a size 28 because I’m about five weeks pregnant and need the extra breathing room. Also, since I’m 5 ft, I cut an inch off the hem even though they were already ankle for the perfect fit. I love paring them with theseBoss Boots which also come four other colors available at Everlane. I like how the block heel is short enough to wear all day, but still give you a little lift.
This oversized blazercomes in three other colors and looks great with skinny jeans and fitted dresses. Since the blazer is meant to be oversized, I would size down if you’re petite like myself so that it doesn’t overwhelm you.

Hey everyone, it feels so good to get dressed up and accessorize again. I’ve spent so much time lounging around the house in pajamas during the first trimester of pregnancy that I forgot how nice it feels to put on regular clothes and makeup. I’m almost 14 weeks now though so it’s about time! Speaking of time, I recently received the beautiful new kate spade new york hollis leather watch. It’s such a sleek and dainty timepiece and it pairs perfectly with my other daily jewels. I chose the color clocktower because I love the rose gold against the grey leather. It also come in few other colors too. See here→ kate spade new york hollis leather watch
The red is precious too and would make the sweetest gifting during the holidays!
