The Perfect Cozy Sweater Dress
Photos by: Casey Scheib
Outfit: Acrobat Sweater Dress (Love boutique), Dee Keller Wedges (Thank you to Park Lane), Jet Set Travel Tote (Michael Kors), Leopard Calf Hair Belt (J. Crew, but similar (here)
Jewelry: Franny Cocktail Ring (Club Monaco), La Mer Wrap Watch (The Villa), Renegade Cluster Bracelet (Stella and Dot)
Good Morning readers, I’m so glad that I finally have an outfit post to share with you plus more to come! Every year I try and and find that perfect sweater dress that hits at the right length and hugs my body in all the right places. Well, I think I’ve found it! This Acrobat sweater dress from Love fits perfectly and the neutral color allows you to style it in so many different ways! It’s incredibly soft and cozy with a detachable fringe scarf. Yes, I said that right, detachable fringe scarf! So not only does the scarf the add just little bit of bit of flair to this sweater dress, but it can also be removed and worn with other basic pieces that you already own! What a deal, right!
P.S. What do you all think of the new changes to the Haute Off The Rack logo? I am just loving the simplicity of blue and silvery grey, which are actually the colors of my room. A huge thank you to Kristen Blake Soileau for helping me out with that! She did such an amazing job! Let me know what you think! Oh, and come visit me at Love boutique today if you’re in the area!
Have a great day!

A Need for Tweed
Photos by: Casey Scheib
Outfit: Bailey 44 Leather & Tweed Dress (Love), The Olivia Loafer heel (Dee Keller),
Jewelry: Single Stone necklace (Brenchley), Classic Pave Link Bracelet (J. Crew), Two-tone watch (Michael Kors), Karma Necklace (Dogeared), David Yurman bracelet and ring
Good Morning readers, how chic is this leather and tweed combo? It’s one of my favorite looks for this fall! I love how the tweed detail gives the leather dress a more classy and sophisticated look. Plus, the two different textures look exceptional together. What do you think?
Initially, I styled the dress with a pair of red suede pumps, but then decided on the menswear-inspired heels for an unexpected twist. Oh, and speaking of heels, don’t ever attempt to climb a train ladder wearing a pair like I did in the picture below. It will result in a brutally painful accident. Just trust me on that one! Anyway, I’m super excited because tomorrow is my birthday so keep an eye out for my birthday outfit post! Also, make sure to read this week’s issue of Dig magazine to read my article on New York Fashion Week and Mission: Closet Clean-out to prepare your for your fall wardrobe. There’s even a little DIY project included

Black and Blue for Summer

The Rhonda wedges in black and tan (Dee Keller),
Jewelry: San Benito pendant necklace (VSA available at Park Lane in Lafayette), Gold cross necklace (Love), The Tale of Three Stones ring (Zariin), Michael Kors watch
Hello everyone, I hope some of you were able to benefit from yesterday’s post (Embellished Laundry + Grad Gifts) on graduation dresses and gifts. Please let me know if you have questions about any of those items! I’ve already gotten a few calls about some of them, and I truly love hearing from you.
Anyway back to this outfit, black and blue is one of my favorite color combos during the fall and winter. Well, I missed wearing those two so much that I decided to figure out a way to incorporate those colors into a summer look. I just feel so sophisticated and put together when wearing that color combo. What do you think of way I styled it here? I honestly love it and think the white boyfriend blazer makes this outfit look effortlessly chic and really allows the blue to pop. Oh and how can I not mention these wedges! These are probably my favorite Dee Keller shoes because they’re so practical, yet so unique! I know I’ll get such a good wear out of them because they’re a neutral color, comfortable and just tall enough to wear with my bell bottom jeans.
See how I styled Black and Blue together with Dl1961 coated denim and the same cobalt blouse in the picture below. Click on the picture to see the actual post.
P.S. I’ve decided to extend the deadline of the $100 Park Lane Gift Card Giveaway until this Sunday, May 20th at 11:59 p.m. because I feel like I didn’t give you all enough time to enter last week! So here is another chance for you to win! Just click the ad below to see how to enter!

The Monet
Photos by: Max Zoghbi
Outfit: The Monet dress by Karina Grimaldi (Thank you to Park Lane), Luggage handbag (Dee Keller)
The Fairly nude heel (Dee Keller), The Brighton Sea foam wedge (Dee Keller)
Jewelry: Karma necklace, Necklace with pendant (Virgins Saints and Angels), Gold cuff (vintage), Tale of Three Stones ring (Zariin), White natural stone ring (Frock Candy), Two tone watch (Michael Kors), Beaded wrap bracelet similar (here)
Good Morning readers! I know most of you dread Monday mornings, but hopefully this post will help start your day off with a smile! First, I have a small confession… I actually didn’t mean to wear this particular VSA necklace with the dress. I forgot to switch it out while changing! Oops! I love that necklace and it doesn’t look terrible with it, but I had actually planned on wearing a different VSA pendant necklace that you could see much better against the print of the dress. Speaking of the print of the dress, how beautiful are all those colors swirled together? It’s called the Monet dress because yep, you guessed it! It’s supposed to mimic a Monet piece of art. I don’t know about you, but I would definitely consider this dress a Monet masterpiece! Back to the jewelry… How exquisite is the Tale of Three Stones ring by Zariin? Click (here) to see other pieces by Zariin? It’s probably my favorite new piece of jewelry because of how unique it looks, and I think it complements this Karina Grimaldi dress really nicely.
About the shoes: I styled this dress with two different pairs of shoes to show the convenience of having a nude pair of heels because they’ll go with anything without taking away the spotlight from the actual outfit. I also wore it with the Dee Keller sea foam wedges because there were so many light blues mixed into the print of the dress. I thought that pairing it with the Brighton wedges might highlight the brighter colors in the dress and give it a whole new look. Check out the girl who this awesome wedge was named after at Brighton The Day.
