My Favorite Style of Hudson Jeans

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing one of my favorite styles of jeans that I’ve been wearing for years: The Hudson Jeans Nico Mid-Rise Ankle Skinnies! I’ve been wearing this style since high school because the stretch and comfort of the jeans is amazing, which is great for my prominent butt and thighs. I own this exact style of Hudson Jeans in variety of colors and washes, but I found them available in this cool trooper green color at Zappos. I’m obsessed with color for fall and it pairs beautifully with plaids, grey, black and of course every neutral hue!

Scroll through this post to see how I styled them with my lace tank, a nude bomber jacket and some black, leather mules.

For sizing reference: I normally wear a size 25-26 in Hudson Jeans and I took a 26 in this pair. Also, I’m only 5 ft so I did get these jeans hemmed a bit to fit me perfectly at the ankle!

Trend Obsession: Lace Tanks & Bomber Jackets

Good morning everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! Today I’m showing you how to style one of this season’s hottest trends: lace tanks with bomber jackets! Remember how I wore my olive lace tank with a rose gold bomber during New York Fashion Week? In case you missed it, check it out here–> Rose Gold Bomber + Lace Tank

For today’s look, I paired my lace tank and olive bomber jacket with some distressed jeans from Express and peep toe booties. I love how the lace tank looks feminine and sexy while the bomber jacket adds an edgy and masculine touch. This outfit is great for a date or night out with the girls.

Rose Gold Bomber + Lace Tank

Hi everyone, if you follow me on Instagram then you know that I thought I would never wear/love a rose gold bomber so much. However, New York Fashion Week always seems to pull out my most creative and eye catching outfit ideas. When I first bought this rose gold bomber, I was obsessed with it, but I never thought I would actually wear it! Yea I’m that kind of person! I buy things even when I know I won’t actually wear them! Fortunately, when I was packing for NYFW, I found myself searching for a neutral jacket wasn’t too boring overdone and I thought of my bomber. Not only did it complete my outfit, but it took my look from casual and simple to edgy and trendy. I not gonna lie, it makes me feel a little bit like “Jenni from the block,” and I don’t hate it!

Year Round Beach Waves How To

Hi everyone, as we say goodbye to summer I thought I would share how I create year round beach waves in my hair with TRESemmé since it’s the best way to hold on to summer! Plus I get so many inquiries about how I curl my hair so I figured I would share all of my tips and tricks with you. I think you’ll be happy to learn that it’s super quick and easy. I listed all the steps below so you can try it out too and I’ll be rocking this hairstyle during most of New York Fashion Week so make sure follow along on social media.

Step 1: Rinse and Condition your hair with TRESemmé’s Botanique Nourish and Replenish Shampoo and Conditioner
Side Note: Beach waves do not require perfectly clean hair! You can wash your hair and then go a couple of days before using some dry shampoo and trying this style. In fact, I feel like my waves always hold better when my hair is a little dirty.

Step 2: Spray the Nourish & Replenish Hydrating Mist all throughout your hair and not just because it smells amazing like coconuts at the beach, but also because it helps to detangle and hydrate your locks. That’s another reason that the new TRESemmé BOTANIQUE Collection is so great because your hair can still smell like summer all year long.

Step 3: Dry your hair. I love my T3 Micro Dryer. After drying, add some grit and texture to your hair with or mousse. You can also use TRESemmé BOTANIQUE Damage Recovery Oil Elixir for weightless shine and texture that won’t leave your hair feeling greasy.

Step 4: Next, tease all the hair around the the crown of your head with a comb and Spray TRESemmé Thermal Creations Heat Protectant Spray throughout entire head to avoid damaging your hair with hot tools.

Step 5: Part your hair to your liking and use a 1.5” curling wand to create beach-wave-like-curls.  I like using my T3 Trio Wand. The trick is to curl one small section at time leaving out about an inch to an inch and a half of hair left out at your ends. I usually take half inch sections of hair and hold for a little less then 10 seconds. Make sure to keep all of the curls facing the same direction around your head and do not brush or tug on them until the very end. This will allow the curls to set.

Step 6: Spray your entire head with hairspray to hold all of the curls and then after a few minutes, gently run your fingers through your hair pulling all of the curls into soft waves. Complete the hairstyle with plenty of Tres Two Extra Hold Hairspray.
