Stuart Weitzman Lowland Over The Boots Review: I really hope my mom doesn’t read this post because she would kill me if she knew how I much I spent on a pair of boots. However, I’m a big girl and it’s my money so I can make my own decisions. In case you aren’t familiar with the SW Lowland Over The Knee boots, the price is pretty steep, but I’d say the quality lives up to the price’s high standards! It is definitely the biggest splurge I’ve ever made on a pair of shoes, but it was well worth it. If you’re looking for sleek, comfortable, stylish and timeless all in one boot, the Lowland is your gal! At first, I was worried that they would be too tall and high up on the leg for me because I am only 5 ft, but I think they fit perfectly and hit at a flattering spot on the the thigh.
Sizing: I normally wear a 6.5 in shoes, but I usually like to size up to a 7 in boots so I can wear thicker socks. However, with these boots, I had to stay at my regular 6.5 size. Reviews said to size down, but since I normally size up a half size in boots I decided to go with my normal size and they ended up fitting perfectly. The size 7 would have definitely been way too big.
Funny Story About The Boots: Ok so you know how when you get a new leather bag or pair of boots, you take in a deep breath of that new leather smell? Well, I was in my room trying out new lipsticks when the boots arrived and I immeidately took them out of the box and pulled one towards my face to smell it and what do i do? I get a big freaking merlot kiss mark on the inner part of the boot! I was like, “I guess this is what I get for spending an arm and a leg on a pair of boots!” Thank goodness that the mark is on the inside of the boot and I was able to get most of it off!
