Pink Ruffle Dress

I’m willing to bet that you have five events that you could wear this little pink ruffle dress to this summer or I could at least name five of my own: my friend’s baby shower, Sunday Brunch, best friend’s engagement party, bridal luncheon and a play that I’m going to with my grandmother next weekend! Bam!

Good Morning readers, I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend. I had so much fun staying in New Orleans on Friday and Saturday with (Krystal) A Pinch of Lovely at the AC Bourbon Hotel. I don’t think we ever stopped eating the entire time. It all started at Sucre in the French Quarter when we felt compelled to stop for gelato and macarons before dinner and then we scarfed down 10 different tapas with friends at Baru on Magazine St. The next morning, we waited 25 minutes in line for iced coffee and beignets at Cafe Beignet on Royal St. followed by pizza at Domenica for lunch before heading out.

Dress sizing info: I am wearing an XS in these photos and I still have plenty of extra room since it’s a shift dress. It runs a little on the shorter side, which is perfect for me because I’m only 5ft, but I definitely wouldn’t describe the dress as too short. Also, I always think that if you’re wearing a dress with long sleeves, it’s totally acceptable to go a little shorter in length.
