Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend and St. Patrick’s Day. If you live in Louisiana, I know you were enjoying beautiful weather and sunshine all weekend long. Also known as perfect maxi weather!
On that note, how eye catching is this pleated neon yellow maxi from Candy Apple Blog Shop! Can you believe that its only $44! Immediately upon seeing it in their office, I knew I had to add it to my wardrobe. If you’re feeling that same desire for this stunning neon maxi, make sure to stop by their pop-up shop this Wednesday, March 20 from 6-8 pm at the Delta Gamma House on LSU’s Campus or this Saturday, March 23 from 10-1 pm in New Orleans. More details on the ad below!
To style the dress, I chose bronze metallic accessories and jewelry to contrast with the brightness of the dress and to tone down the neon. I also wore a fun aztec-inspired cuff from Candy Apple Blog Shop for a little added flair. I think the wooden beaded necklace by Dotted Tusk accented the dress perfectly and lucky for you its currently on sale for only $14!

Outfit Comparison: Neon Maxi (Victoria’s Secret)<– $128, Metallic Braided Belt (Target)
For those of you who don’t do strapless dresses but love this bright neon yellow, this style dress from Victoria’s Secret is a great alternative. I myself prefer the one from Candy Apple Blog Shop because its less than half of this price and it has slits at the bottom. However, this dress is still beautiful and gives you another option. The straps and no slits factor make the dress a little more conservative than the other and may be more age appropriate for some. What are your thoughts?
P.S. Here is a sneak peek of tomorrow’s post with Yael Palma of Madly Yours. Check back tomorrow to see our collaboration!
