How To Wear The Cape Blazer

I’m sure that by now you’ve all seen the new cape blazer/coat trend and if you saw my last post featuring the cape blazer, then you know that I refer to it as the “new tailored blazer” with a hint of edgy, chic. The last time I styled the cape blazer it was for a much dressier occasion so today I’m showing how to wear the cape blazer in a more casual-chic way. If you’re going for sophisticated-chic with legging jeans, over the knee boots paired with a satchel is always a good route to take. The over the knee boots complement the sleek vibe of the jeans and allows the cape blazer to do all the talking! Also, when it comes to capes, I find that I prefer bare arms over long sleeves, because I think it looks more slimming that way, but that’s just my personal preference. I’ve seen people style long sleeves beneath capes and it turn out amazing so it’s totally up to how the overall look makes you feel.
