No matter what denim styles are on trend, I still always love to rock a pair of flare jeans. I love wearing flares because I can wear them with sky high heels which make my legs appear longer. If you’re petite like me then you totally understand how fun that feels. I also love the 70s vibe of flare jeans and how they instantly make your outfit seem dressier like you tried a little harder than skinny jeans. Fortunately for all of us who love flares, the bell is back and in full swing. This means we have way more styles and washes to choose from. I personally love a dark wash and a black pair too. I also really love the high waisted styles because a high waist just adds on a few more inches to your legs!

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had nice weekend. If you live in the Louisiana area then I know you had to of enjoyed the gorgeous weather this past weekend.
About the outfit: Over the next couple of weeks, I’m going to show you multiple different ways to wear your flares starting with today’s cozy look. I styled my dark wash flares with a chunky V-neck Sweater from Chicwish (also available in grey here). What I love most about the sweater is the V-neck in front and the crisscross detail in the back. The open neck and back helps the sweater appear less chunky and overwhelming with a pair of wide leg jeans. To jazz up the look, I stacked on plenty of Julie Vos jewelry and a Melanie Auld Tusk necklace. Then I completed the look with a hair calf leopard clutch by Madly Yours.
These photos were taken on the balcony of the penthouse at the International House Hotel in New Orleans, LA.
Thank you to Chicwish for bringing you this post. All opinions are my own.
