My Favorite Transitional Outfit
Happy Sunday everyone, today I’m sharing one of my favorite transitional outfit combos to wear year round, but especially during August and September. In case you don’t already know, I live way down south in Louisiana where it’s always nice humid and hot. July and August are probably the two most brutal months and sometimes even September can bring on record breaking heat temperatures. So when it comes to wearing transitional outfits in between summer and fall, you can find me living in swing dresses and sleeveless jackets. I tend to buy them in mostly stripes and neutral colors like olive, tan, black, nude etc. I like to keep quite a few of them on hand so I was stoked when I found a huge, affordable selection of them at Nordstrom Rack. My newest favorite one has to be this Dee Elle Striped Swing Dress which is only $25 and currently available in all sizes. The Sleeveless Knit Dress and Mock Neck Dress in black are also two other great options to pair with the olive vest I styled in the photos below.

Backstage at Frankie’s Bikinis ‘Summer of Love’ Show with TRESemmé
Hi everyone, as promised today I’m sharing my second recap post from Miami Swim Week featuring Frankie’s Bikinis ‘Summer of Love’ with the TRESemmé team. In case you missed my last Swim Week post, you can view it here—> Behind The Scenes with Beach Bunny Swimwear
You should also check out my previous recap post if you want the details on my knotted double braid created by one of TRESemmé’s talented stylists.
Following the Beach Bunny Swimwear Presentation, we headed straight backstage at the Frankie’s Bikinis ‘Summer of Love’ show to watch the TRESemmé stylists work more of their magic. After seeing all of the stunning hairstyles from the previous presentation, I imagined that the stylists couldn’t possibly top those gorgeous, undone boho braids and then they brought on the volume! However, I’m not talking about just any volume. I’m talking floral volume. The TRESemmé stylists took textured beach waves to the next level by planting flowers into the models’ perfectly, tousled manes. Yet again, the stylists killed it with epic beach babe hairstyles to match Frankie’s Bikinis fun and free, hippie vibe.

Fun Fact: Frankie Aiello was the youngest designer to debut her collection at Miami Swim Week back in 2014. What an inspiration!
