Olive Trench Jacket + Ripped Jeans
In case you haven’t noticed, I’m kind of obsessed with anything that has the word trench in it from trench dresses and trench coats to trench vests and trench jackets. I’m also loving all things olive right now so I’m sure can imagine how I feel about this olive trench jacket from Herringstone’s Boutique.

Hi everyone! This is my second post today because I have so many amazing fall looks to share with you including this olive trench jacket that I paired with ripped jeans, a cropped sweater and my taupe ankle boots. Normally I would never wear a cropped sweater with a pair of jeans, but I made the exception since the jeans are black and high-waisted. Plus I was wearing a trench jacket over it so I felt less exposed. Also, just so there is no misunderstanding, I don’t think there is anything wrong with wearing cropped sweaters and jeans. I just personally don’t feel my best in that outfit combo, but in this case I did thanks to the trench jacket!
P.S. I just want you to know that I played around in a pumpkin patch for an hour to get these photos while these elderly gentlemen made fun of all my poses and the “holes” in my jeans! lol It was worth it though and I left with a few cute pumpkins too!

Every time I’m in New Orleans, I always want to stop at Felipe’s on N Peters St. to chow down on some fish tacos or I like to run by District Donut on Magazine for some donut sliders. First time in NOLA? Plan out your meals first! Can you tell I’m a foodie? It’s not just me, though—New Orleans is the place to dine! Once you finish your meal itinerary, pencil in a little shopping on Magazine Street and some leisure time to stroll through the St. Louis Cathedral in Jackson Square and the beautiful streets in the Garden District. I also love walking down Royal Street to admire all of the stunning old architecture, live street music and the brightly colored houses. If you want to try something really fun, schedule a cooking class at the New Orleans School of Cooking. You’ll be amazed at what you’ll learn! Plus, you get to enjoy wine and a little French Quarter history while you cook. They’ll even show you how to make homemade pralines! One more thing: Do me a favor and don’t leave the French Quarter without stopping for beignets at Café Du Monde or Café Beignet! I promise that they’re worth it!
Shopping: I love shopping at Haus 131, Elle boutique and Sincerely Luxe on Magazine St. as well as the Shops at Canal Place. I always like to stop at Emma’s Shoes and Candy Apple in Metairie on the way to the city as well.
This post was brought to you by the Glitter Guide. A huge thanks to my amazing team for making this post possible!

Good Morning readers, remember how I wore this sleeveless trench coat in Tuesday’s post with jeans and a sweatshirt? You can view the post here in case you missed it–> The Chic Sleeveless Trench Coat | For today’s post, I went with an easy throw-on dress and paired it with my sleeveless trench vest to give the look an edgier feel. I also added some sleek over the knee boots and a nylon backpack for a sporty-chic vibe. What do you think? Do you like the sleeveless trench better with jeans and a tee or an easy everyday dress? Or both?
About the boots: At first I was hesitant about DUO boots because I was new to the brand, but once I received my first pair of Dita boots in the mail, I instantly fell in love with the incredible detail and quality. Not to mention that fact that you can customize your size to fit your calf for a super smooth and sleek fit. If you’ve been contemplating about splurging on the Stuart Weitzman Highland boot, then these are the boots for you! They have the structure and quality of the Stuart Weitzman boots except you’ll save yourself a few hundred bucks by going with these. The Dita boots are nearly half of the price and the quality is just as amazing if not better! For sizing, it is best to order about a half size down. Learn how to choose the best size for you here–> DUO Boots: Find Your Fit
