Friday Faves: 1) Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue
Hi everyone and Happy Friday! Today I’m sharing my Friday Faves just in time for the weekend starting the with the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue. If you know me at all, you know that I rarely ever wear makeup during the day. However, I don’t have flawless skin so I always like to wear some type of coverage as well as SPF to protect my face from the sun! Sometimes I brush on a little loose mineral powder, but lately I’ve been needing extra coverage so I started using Bare Minerals’ new Complexion Rescue, a tinted hydrating gel cream. I love using it as an everyday base foundation before finishing with loose Golden Tan mineral powder. It’s great for the day time and causal weekends because it’s a lightweight naturally radiant gel cream, but it still gives you a nice medium coverage. It’s a like a BB cream, a CC and a tinted moisturizer mixed all in one!
Friday Faves: 2) Hazen Jewelry
During the spring and summer, I love to wear layers and layers of colorful jewelry and I recently added the beautiful Hazen Jewelry bracelets to my stack! Don’t you love the unique shapes and colors of these beads?
Friday Faves: 3) GiGi New York Tori Tote
I’m usually more a structure tote kind of girl, but I decided try a floppy unlined tote in saddle for spring. I’ve only owned it for about a week and I have already fallen in love with it! I just feel so effortlessly cool and casual when I’m carrying it! If you’ve been looking for a beautiful leather tote for year round use, I highly recommend the Tori Tote! It even comes in a gorgeous cobalt blue and salmon color too!

Describe your favorite feature of the Jenn Bucket Bag.
My favorite feature of the Jenn Bucket Bag is that it has both a short shoulder strap and a removable crossbody strap for convenience. I also love the texture of the embossed python body with the smooth pebble trim for added details.
We love the color Desert Rose for Spring! What made you pick this color from our new collection?
I am obsessed with all things pink right now especially blush! Honestly, I’ve been waiting for this bag in the Desert Rose color since we designed the Jenn Bucket Bag this past fall.
Describe 2 places you think you’ll take the Jenn Bucket Bag in Desert Rose.
I have already taken my Jenn Bucket Bag in Desert Rose on a mini staycation at the Le Meridien Hotel in New Orleans and the Southern Hotel in Downtown Covington. I’ve also taken it out to my favorite café, Abita Roasting Co. for coffee and King Cake before running errands. However, I hope to take the Jenn bag on quite a few exciting adventures throughout 2015! So stay tuned for #JennBucketBagTravels!
How do you make this color transition from late winter to early spring?
The Desert Rose color is definitely considered a neutral with its gorgeous blush tone, which makes it super easy to transition into new seasons. The new Harbor Blue color is equally beautiful and can easily fit into the neutral family as well. Lately, I’ve been pairing mine with my distressed denim, ankle boots and my sleeveless trench or ivory moto jacket for a refreshing transitional look that still keeps me warm. Once spring officially arrives, you’ll see me toting around my Jenn bag while wearing espadrilles, cutoffs and beach cover-ups!
We know you have carried the Jenn Bucket Bag (in other colors) for some time now. Do you like the new colors we chose for Spring?
I of course still love my Stone and Navy bucket bags for Spring, but I’m so excited to incorporate these new pastel colors into my wardrobe! Like I mentioned earlier, I’ve been waiting for these soft spring pastels since fall.

Good Morning readers and Happy Friday! This is another look from the mini video I filmed in NOLA this past Monday with Kaela Rodehorst Photography and Heritage 1221 Cinema. I can’t wait to see how the video turns out especially with all of these beautiful spring colors. At first, I thought the sky blue tote would be too much paired with the purple tulips and bright pink maxi, but then I realized that it just made the pink pop even more and you know how much I love color pop! Good Morning readers, how about these leopard print sneaker slip-ons? Are they not LOVE at first sight! I’m such a sucker for leopard print so these sneaks had me head over heels the minute I laid eyes on them! Judging from all of your responses to my sneak peek on Instagram last night, I think it’s safe to say that you feel the same way about the Sam Edelman Becker Slipons!
This Olivia Shopper handbag by Gigi New York and distressed Mother Denim are new favorites of mine as well so you’ll be seeing them on repeat on Haute Off The Rack. If you’ve never tried Mother denim, I highly recommend you try a pair. They’re so comfortable that you’ll never want to take them off! As for this new oversized cross-body bag, it has finally replaced my old everyday bag! It’s my new go-to bag plus the color makes it perfect to use year round! I’ll do post soon on everything I can fit and keep in my new Olivia bag so you can see how spacious it is!
