How To Rock The Embroidered Shoe Trend
Hi everyone, I recently showed you how to style colorful sandals for summer with Sole Society and today I’m sharing three tips on how to rock the embroidered shoe trend! This trend rolled out last fall and it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere soon so I say it’s time for you to roll up your sleeves and try it out for yourself. Scroll through this post for tips and to see how I styled my embroidered mules.

- Don’t play it safe! The embroidered shoe trend is fun and edgy so keep it that way! Don’t just pair them with a little black dress. Throw on your favorite ripped jeans or cutoff shorts with a cropped top or graphic tee.

2. Avoid wearing additional statement pieces that will compete with the shoes. It’s totally ok to style your embroidered shoes with other prints and patterns, but just take few steps back in the mirror and ask yourself if it looks like too much going on. And be honest with yourself! I also suggest wearing a color on top from the pattern of the shoes to really make that hue pop.

3. Don’t overpay for trendy items like these embroidered mules! Keep it under $100 like this pair for only $84 from Sole Society! Also, if you aren’t quite ready for the embroidered look yet, but you’re ready to take on color, these shoes are also available in solid yellow too.

Sneakers Under $100
Hi everyone, today I’ve teamed up with Naturalizer to share the details on their Friends & Family Sale featuring some of my favorite sneakers under $100. Speaking of sneakers, I recently set out to find the most comfortable slip ons out there and these Marianne sneakers (pictured below) just so happen to be among my top five. They feature a contoured footbed with superior arch and heel support, which I know many of us crave when it comes to flat shoes. The Mariannes are also super cushiony and have a cool and breathable lining made with lightweight materials, and flexibility that moves with you. Oh and here’s the best part…they’re currently 30% OFF with code: NATBFF17 along with the rest of your Naturalizer order!
I love the blue and black pairs featured in today’s post, but they also come in mauve and a cute striped pattern too! Shop more 30% OFF sale shoes from Naturalizer.com in the widget below!

Open Shoulder Blouse + Block Heel Mules
Hi everyone, I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom today to style two of my favorite trends this season: cold shoulder blouses and block heel mules. If you follow along with Haute Off The Rack regularly, then you already know that I’m a huge fan of nude shoes and anything off the shoulder. However, I recently jumped on the block heel mules train and I just can’t seem to get enough of them! Fortunately, Nordstrom carries plenty of different styles of mules including the exact blush pair that I’m wearing in today’s post. I actually love this pair so much that I considered getting a second pair in case anything ever happens to these because I’m crazy like that! LOL Please tell me I’m not the only one who does that!
Don’t worry though, I didn’t do it! Instead, I decided to go for these super cute perforated mules that Nordstrom just added to their site. What is your current favorite pair of block heel mules at Nordstrom right now?

For size reference in the top, I’m wearing the size XS, but I’m thinking I should have gotten the small instead because it’s a tad snug through the arms!

How To Wear Sneakers During The Holidays With Hush Puppies
Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and ate plenty of stuffing and turkey followed by Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping. Speaking of shopping, the holiday season is officially here, which means we’re all about to run around like chickens with their heads cut off trying to prepare for holiday parties, Christmas day and of course gifts under the tree. I don’t know about you, but I like to be pretty comfortable when I’m running errands all day. Unfortunately, we can’t wear our pajamas while shopping in public so I like to wear the next best thing: jeans and sneakers! With that being said, today I’ve partnered up with Hush Puppies to show you how to wear sneakers during the holidays. However, you don’t have to stop at the holidays, you can wear these Ekko Gwen sneakers year round! They’re super comfortable and the taupe color is very flattering to the legs. I styled them with jeans in the photos below, but they also look great with leggings, faux leather pants and of course shorts, but unless you live in the south like me, you probably won’t be wearing them with shorts during the fall and winter. My casual style is a mix of cardigans, utility jackets, jeans, leggings and cozy sweaters paired with sneakers or booties. What’s your casual?

Hush Puppies footwear has been around since 1958, and has been leading the casual and comfortable revolution ever since and trust me, they definitely live up to their comfy expectations. I also love how they have a mix of styles that won’t make you sacrifice comfort for style. Most of their shoes can be dressed up or down. I also own these booties in the smoke suede.
