Happy Friday everyone! Who’s ready to take on the freezing cold weekend! Not me! I think I going to cozy up in my warmest pajamas and fuzzy socks and just post up on the couch all weekend with hot chocolate in hand! If you decide to take on the “frightful” weather outside, make sure to use my looks above for some warm and toasty outfit inspiration. Good Morning readers, I hope you’re all bundled up in a warm coat on this chilly morning! I totally forgot how cold the weather turns in January! I’m happy though because I finally get to pull out all of my nice heavy coats that I’ve been wanting to wear all winter like this red one in today’s post. I can also get away with wearing my blanket scarf all day instead of ripping it off just before lunch to prevent myself from having a heat stroke! I know that sounds a tad dramatic, but it has to be really cold in order for me to stay wrapped up in my thick blanket scarf all day! What are you excited to wear now that it’s freezing cold!?

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Mine was great because I got to meet some of you who read my blog regularly. I love when you come introduce yourself because it’s so cool to see who is on the other end of the computer! I also went and saw Horrible Bosses 2, which is absolutely hilarious! I highly recommend it.
Anyway, back to this outfit! You’ll be happy to know that this beautiful camel coat is 40% OFF today with code: WINTER40! I already owned two other camel colored coats prior to receiving this one, but this luxe wool coat has quickly become my favorite because of the fit and material. I am extremely picky about wool fabric coats because I have super sensitive skin and even just the slightest discomfort will drive me crazy. So I was super happy to learn that this Lands’ End coat is a blend of virgin wool and cashmere and the inside is completely lined to keep the material from irritating your skin.
My favorite part of the coat is the button detail on the cuffs of the sleeves. I also love how the the decorative belt detail on the back gives it more of a feminine feel. I chose the camel color for this coat because it literally goes with everything and is a classic color that will last throughout time. However, the light rich red color is absolutely gorgeous if you already have a camel coat that you like. For sizing, I got the petite 4 so that I can fit thick sweaters beneath and still be able to move my arms. I definitely think this is a coat that every woman needs in her wardrobe!

Good Morning readers, today I’ve partnered up with Emma’s Shoes in Mandeville and Metairie, LA to bring you some more great gift ideas “for her” starting with these Hunter Rain boots! I swear, I think those are on every’s girls’ lists right now even if they already have a pair! Emma’s has a great selection of both the tall and short Hunter boots as well the knit boot socks, which are perfect for the winter. I personally prefer the short style for myself since I am so petite. I’m only 5′ ft! However, the tall boots are so cute especially since you wear them with the boot socks.
I also want to bring your attention to the simple gold hoop earrings and cozy infinity scarf. I feel like these are no brainer gift ideas because if she normally wears scarves in the winter and always dons a pair of earrings, then there is no reason that she wouldn’t love these two options from Emma’s! Even though the earrings are large hoops, they are still very understated so she can get away with wearing them as an every day earring. If she’s more of a small stud kind of girl, then she might like wearing them out on a Friday night to shake up her look a little.
Last, but not least….the Tory Burch mini bucket bag from Emma’s. I mean how stinking cute is this little mini bag. At first, I thought to myself, this bag is just way to small to be functional, but once I tried it out I realized that it’s actually the perfect evening bag or quick errand-running bag. It has a built in wallet for your cards and cash and just enough room for your phone keys and lipgloss! You might even be able to squeeze one more beauty essential in there too. What more do you need while you’re out at night anyway!
About the Sunday Necklace: Did you notice that the necklace I’m wearing sort of resembles a football floating over the New Orleans Superdome? That’s because it is! Hence, why it is called the Sunday Necklace! This necklace is the perfect gift for any New Orleans Saints fan, but especially ones like myself. Just in case you don’t know what kind of fan I am, I’m the type that’s more excited about putting a cute black and gold outfit together rather than the actual game! I just love how this necklace allows you to represent New Orleans in a simple and understated way. It doesn’t scream Saints football fan so you can get away with wearing it as an everyday necklace and not just on Sunday.
