Save the best for last. Whether you’re spending New Year’s Eve at home with close friends and a few bottles of champagne, watching the ball drop in Times Square, or partying at an exclusive VIP event, go out with a bang wearing the best outfit you’ve got. To make your night special, I’ve put together a little New Year’s Eve checklist to help everything run smoothly.

Ladies’ Checklist
1) Ladies, instead of stressing yourself over putting an outfit together, just find a show-stopping dress. It’s an outfit all in one. Just don’t forget to accessorize.

2) Wear at least one sparkly piece of statement jewelry, like these pave tassel earrings from C. Wonder featured in F is For Fashion, and guarantee that all eyes will be on you.

3) If you’re hoping for the perfect New Year’s kiss at midnight, don’t forget to spray on some perfume to smell great all night long.  My new favorite scent is L.I.L.Y by Stella McCartney.

4) Complete your New Year’s look with the perfect sparkly or embellished clutch. Not only will it jazz up your outfit, but it’s also the perfect place to stash your makeup essentials for quick touch-ups throughout the night. Don’t forget to pack some lip balm to keep your lips nice and smooth for that midnight kiss.

Good Morning readers, are you ready for tonight? I know I am! New Years Eve is always an eventful night for me, or at least it has been for the past six years considering that it’s my boyfriend’s birthday and our six year anniversary.  This year we’ve got plans to ring in the New Year New Orleans style with some friends.  I’m not really wearing this outfit tonight, but I know how much you all love this feather skirt so I figured I’d style it for you just one more time.  I actually wore this skirt for New Years last year to the New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center and surprisingly enough, it held up pretty well.  If you want to see this year’s outfit, make sure to follow me on Instagram @hauteofftherack for an exclusive first look. Good Morning readers!  How beautiful is this Rory Beca blouse in Mint Chip?  Out of all the bright, pastel and neon colors flourishing this season mint green still remains my favorite, and Rory Beca just so happened to create the perfect shade and combination of mint green and sea foam for her Spring 2012 collection.  This silk top contains just the right amount of fabric for that effortlessly chic look where it fits loose for comfort, but still holds a feminine shape.  Rory Beca’s bio says that her underlying goal is to design clothes that make women feel pretty, sexy and comfortable.  I can personally vouch that her line does indeed make a woman feel all three of those characteristics. Good Morning readers!  I know what you’re thinking, “Wait, she’s already posted this same outfit in Mother Knows Best Part 1!”  Well, the first time I photographed this outfit I didn’t like the way I styled my hair.  I felt like it didn’t fit well with the overall look  plus I forgot to show a few different angles of these jeans, and these jeans need to be seen! I tried not to change too much about the outfit because I really did love the original look of it, but I didn’t have everything from the original.  Thats is why I am wearing a slightly different blouse, a few other accessories and carrying a different purse.  I just love the pop of color from the Rebecca Minkoff Mini Mac bag!  To me, this outfit screams the 70s, but I’m not the only one who feels this way about Mother Denim.  According to writer, Esther Adams from the Vogue Daily, “this is your go-to brand for seventies styles with irresistible stroke-worthy appeal.”  If you’re interested in learning more about Mother Denim, check out this awesome interview on Denimology.
