The Beauty Products I’m Excited to Use This Spring
Hey everyone, I hope you had a nice weekend. Today I’ve teamed up with Nordstrom to share some of the beauty products that I’m excited to use this spring and summer. I’ll start with the Shiseido WetForce Ultimate Sun Protection Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 50+ because SPF is an absolute must and not just during the spring and summer, but year round. The Shiseido WetForce SPF is perfect for wearing under makeup because it’s a lightweight clear formula that becomes more effective when exposed to water and sweat. And if you live down in the south like myself, sweat in the summer is inevitable so waterproof products are key. Speaking of waterproof products, mascara is no exception! In fact, I wear waterproof mascara year round because I getting dark smudges under my eyes. I highly recommend the Lancome The Monsieur Big Waterproof Mascara because it’s both sweat-proof and smudge-proof. I’m also a fan of large mascara brushes. I’ve also used the Diorshow Waterproof Mascara for 10+ plus years.
When it comes to everyday lip color, I love wearing a subtle nude/mauve color with a hint of pink and this Addict Lacquer Plump Lip Ink comes in the best shades. Plus it’s long lasting and lip plumping. I love the rosy nude color and rosy coral shade too.

Holiday Party Style: Glam Off The Shoulder Gown
Hi everyone, now that Thanksgiving and all of the cyber madness has come to an end, we can finally start focusing on the good stuff: holiday party looks. I’m kicking off my holiday party style series with this glam off the shoulder gown from ModCloth. This stunning formal dress is perfect for a black tie wedding or a fancy holiday party. I styled the dress with plenty of jewels, a pink party bag and a lux faux fur stole to add to the glam factor of the gown. What I love most about this dress is the flattering neckline and high slit. It makes me feel so confident and luxurious like I’m in a James Bond movie! Haha! I’m serious though especially with the updo hairstyle and faux fur stole!

For size reference, I’m wearing the size 4 and I about 5’1 ft and 120 lbs. I’m a 34B and I normally wear a size small in dresses. The Perfect Lace-up Top For Transitional Outfits
Happy Friday everyone, before I head off to the Candy Apple Anniversary party today, I wanted to share this super cute lace-up top with you from Chicwish. It’s perfect for putting together chic transitional outfits into fall. Speaking of transitional outfits, Chicwish has all the cutest tops right now to pair with fall jeans, suede skirts and leggings. I styled mine with a pair of suede shorts, but that’s only because I live in Louisiana where fall doesn’t actually start until November! It just goes to show how versatile a white lace-up top is thought. I also love this crochet off the shoulder top and this lace up sweater.

Good Morning readers, what do you all think of my purple turban headband? I love how it adds an unexpected twist to this casual and simple outfit. I also layered on plenty of necklaces and wrist candy to help boost my look. I chose the druzy pendant necklace and clear quartz arrowhead necklace by Reagan Charleston because I love how well they complemented the teal printed shorts. For shoes and accessories, I went for neutral colors and wore my taupe embossed Gigi New York clutch and my nude ankle strap heels. Since the shorts are so long and I’m so short, they definitely look better on me when paired with wedges or heels. However, the length of the shorts is actually my favorite part because I find them to be much more flattering on my thighs than shorter pairs.
