5 New Year’s Eve Essentials:
1) A statement piece! I obviously recommend something gold, silver, sparkly, glittery or shiny! This could be your mini dress, glittery pumps, shiny clutch, sequin leggings, embellished skirt, jewelry, whatever you want!
2) Bold lipstick or a smokey eye! I love Urban Decay Matte Revolution After Dark & YSL Rouge Pur Couture! For a good smoke eye, try the Urban Decay ‘Naked Smokey’ Palette. If you really want to make your makeup glow, try the Benefit Watt’s Up Face Highlighter. I’m obsessed!
3) A killer pair of heels (like these) and then your Yosi Samra Foldable Flats for when you’re killer heels actually kill you.
4) Aquaphor to keep my lips moisturizes and ready for a New Years Eve kiss at midnight! Plus I just never the leave the house without it! Aquaphor is one of those products that I can’t live without!
5) And a bottle of champagne duh! The Chandon champagne bottle that i featured in today’s post is super cute and festive for the occasion!

What to Wear When It’s Haute! Part 3
It’s still hot people! It’s STILL hot, but don’t worry because I still have more of ‘what to wear when it’s haute’ outfit posts coming for you! You may recognize today’s dress from a recent photo if you follow me on Instagram. Hi everyone, today I’m sharing another designer swimwear look with Orchid Boutique from my recent girl’s trip to Laguna Beach, CA. I know I wrote about the amazing Southern California weather in my last post, but really though…it was absolutely perfect! I’m really missing that bright sun with a slight breeze and those loud crashing waves right about now as I sit here writing my post in rainy and muggy Louisiana.
Anyway, about this swimwear look…I am loving everything fringe this season including bags, jewelry, shoes, coverups and even clothing, which is exactly why I chose this fringe kimono from Orchid Boutique. It looks super cute over my L Space wrap top and high waist bottoms, and it even looks cute with cutoff shorts and a tee too! Did you notice anything different looking about my accessories? Perhaps some new additions? Over the next few posts, you’ll start to notice my new obsession with tassel bracelets and flash tattoos! Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying this gorgeous weekend. We couldn’t ask for better weather here in southern Louisiana. I’ve already spent most of my day outside shopping and enjoying lunch with my boyfriend. Kaela and I actually shot this tulle skirt this past Thursday, but the sun shined just as beautifully today.

Not to worry though because you can easily have one custom made for yourself too! Just email Christine at info@blisstulle.com with your measurements and style request and she’ll have your dream tulle skirt to you in no time. If you’re wondering why I requested to have this skirt specially made for me, you can ask Pinterest that question! After staring at my Pinterest boards for hours one day, I decided that I needed a majestic tulle ball gown to prance around in my magical field for no reason. Haha! You all know how Pinterest gets the best of us sometimes and drives us to buy, make, bake and order all kinds of things! At least that’s what it does to me! This might sound lame, but this tulle skirt made me feel like a little girl again dressed up like a pretty pretty princess! It was truly a magical day! Haha! I’m not kidding! You can even ask Kalea! I hope these pictures of me frolicking around an open field wearing a tulle ball gown inspires you to have a little fun and maybe even get your own custom made tulle skirt to enjoy!

P.S. I found this rose gold cropped top at Forever 21 over the Christmas holidays and even though I didn’t need it for anything at the time I bought it anyway because it was only $15! Anytime you see a cute cropped top under $20, you buy it! Trust me, you’ll end up needing it for something!
