I’m about to leave for my best friend’s bachelorette beach trip, but before I head out I wanted to share these Show Me Your Mumu looks from Lotus Look just in time for the weekend. About the bag: Remember my most recent post featuring the Kelly Wynne ‘Sorry I’m Not Sorry’ satchel from the Island Allure Collection? (see here: Watercolor Dress + Island Allure) Well, today I’ve styled another bag from the collection called the Mingle Mingle Mini in Galapagos Island. This metallic bag is perfect for dressing up summer sun dresses in the evening, which is exactly what I did here! During the day I can wear this printed Michelle Tunic with flat sandals, every day jewelry and a tote. Then at night I can throw on a pair of heels, some Loren Hope statement jewels and my Kelly Wynne Mingle Mingle Mini. This makes packing for summer trips much easier when you can easily take your looks from day to night.

Watercolor Dress + Island Allure
Two exciting things people: 1) If you love Cella Boutique’s selection of clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories like this stunning, watercolor dress I’m wearing in today’s post, then you’ll be excited to hear that Cella’s will soon be opening their third location in Metairie, LA! Even more exciting news, I’m hosting their grand opening party along with Krystal from A Pinch of Lovely. 2) In case you didn’t notice, I styled my watercolor dress with a fresh new, white cross body from Kelly Wynne’s latest Island Allure collection and if you’re a KW fan, then you’re going to die over her newest bag designs and colors. I especially love the new ‘Sorry I’m Not Sorry’ satchel in sey-shells featured in today’s post. My favorite part is the tassel detail on both sides of the bag along with the convenient cross body strap.

My First Hair Color Experience!

Good afternoon readers, I hope you all had a great week. I’m having an amazing time at New York Fashion Week and I’m so excited to share one of my NYFW experiences with you today! In case you didn’t already know, I have never ever colored my hair before…ever!! So when Lucky Magazine and Aloxxi reached out to me about coloring my hair to kick off New York Fashion Week, I immediately jumped at the opportunity.
People have always told me to never put color in my hair because it was “already so beautiful,” so I didn’t, but boy was I missing out! It’s so fun—I feel like a whole new person! As you can see I didn’t go too crazy with color, but to me any added color is a drastic change! Marilyn, the Aloxxi artistic advisor did a fantastic job at creating the look I was going for, which was a very natural-looking “sombre” with a soft balayage. Since I was a “hair color virgin” prior to my appointment yesterday, Marilyn gave me a detailed description of everything that she was doing to my hair so I would feel comfortable with the process. She even explained how to use all of my new Aloxxi hair products, which smell divine in case you were wondering.
I love how Aloxxi is all about hair color personalities. My color personality is called “Seduction on the Grand Canal.” Each color has a fun unique name so that you can easily tell your Aloxxi hair color stylist the look that you’re trying to achieve. I don’t know much since I’m a hair color newbie, but I do know that I could not have asked for a better first hair color experience with Aloxxi.

However, I love this skort and these two handbags so I thought the rest of the photos were still worth sharing! White accessories always add a crisp and refreshing twist to your outfits.
