Wedding Wednesday: My Top Wedding Registry Picks with Bed Bath & Beyond

This post is in partnership with Bed Bath & Beyond, a brand I love. All opinions and selections here are my own. Thank you for supporting the affiliate posts who make this blog possible.

Hi everyone and Happy Wedding Wednesday! Today I’m sharing my top wedding registry picks from our recent appointment at our local Bed Bath & Beyond. We had such a great experience during our registry appointment with Bed Bath & Beyond because not only did we have an in-store expert helping us the whole time, but we also learned that we could register for cool electronics like the Dyson Cord-Free Stick Vacuum and a Roomba. Thank goodness we had help because we were clueless on what to pick out! On top of all of the in-store expert assistance, our registry consultant gave us a check-list as a guide to use throughout the store.

Did you know you can register online too? After we left our appointment, I immediately got online to manage my registry and see if there was anything else I wanted to add.

You can also easily add all of my registry picks onto your own registries in just one easy click!—> https://www.bedbathandbeyond.com/store/static/stylemakerspotlight/?

  1. Olivia & Oliver Harper Organic Shape Gold 5-Piece Place Setting

It’s no secret that I love a glam table setting so when I saw these gold rimmed Olivia & Oliver Harper Organic Shape Place Settings, I knew I had to have them along with the matching wine glasses!

2) Gold Charger Plates! I love this gold beaded charger plate set. I love using chargers instead of placements.

3) Olivia & Oliver Madison 20-Piece Flatware Set in Gold

In addition to the 5-Piece Place Settings, gold flatware is a must when it comes to glam table settings! I also picked out the Mikasa® Regent Bead Gold 65-Piece to use as my everyday flatware set.

4) Olivia & Oliver Madison Gold Red Wine Glasses (Set of 4)

The gold rim detail on the glasses complement my white and gold place settings perfectly!

5) Dyson V8 Cord-Free Stick Vacuum Cleaner

6) Ascent Designer Series Slim 3-Step Stool

I use all my 3-step stool all the time to reach our dinnerware, glasses and other high up items since I’m so short! You’d be surprised how I often I find myself using it.

At first Blake wasn’t too keen on spending the day picking out kitchen gadgets and dinnerware, but once he realized that we could register for cool electronics like the Ninja Blender and the De’Longhi Nespresso® Lattissima Pro Espresso maker, he immediately got excited. Those were Blake’s top picks along with our super soft Wamsutta sheet set.

7) Wamsutta® 500-Thread-Count PimaCott® Sheet Set

8) KitchenAid® 5-Quart Artisan™ Custom Metallic Stand Mixer

I love a lot of the items on our registry, but I cannot even begin to express to you how much I love my KitchenAid® 5-Quart Artisan™ Custom Metallic Stand Mixer in Copper. When I first received it, I joked that I wanted to put it on my nightstand so I could see every morning the minute I opened my eyes. Obviously, that would be weird so I settled for keeping it displayed on my kitchen counter.

9) Simplehuman® 55-Liter Rectangular Step Trash Can with Liner Pocket

10) KitchenAid® Tri-Ply Copper 10-Piece Cookware Set

11) DELSEY PARIS CHATELET+ 24-Inch Hardside Spinner

12) De’Longhi Nespresso® Lattissima Pro in Stainless Steel

13) J.K. Adams Monogrammed Barbecue Board

14) Kassatex Baratta Turkish Cotton Bath Towel & Wamsutta® Collection Turkish Bath Towel

I love both sets of the above towels because they are so thick and absorbent. Also, I love the aqua blue stripe detail on the Kassatex Baratta Turkish towels for a pop of color in the bathroom.

15) Ninja Coffee Bar® Glass Carafe System

I don’t know how ever made coffee at home before the Ninja Coffee Bar. The built-in frother and one cup option definitely makes it a game changer.

How To Create a Successful Wedding Registry

  1. Go to BedBathandBeyond.com now and book an appointment online at your nearest store! One of the main reasons we registered at Bed Bath & Bath was because we wanted to choose a place that would be convenient and affordable for our guests. You can find a BB&B location in most major cities and they also send out month coupons that we knew our guests would be able to use to receive a discount on our gifts instead of having to pay full price.
  2. Before heading to your appointment, look through your entire home to see what you’re lacking so that you register for items you actually need instead of adding more clutter in your kitchen.
  3. Use my top wedding registry picks as a base for you own list.
  4. Even if you think you know exactly what you want, still take a look through the checklist that Bed Bath & Beyond provides. At first, we thought we didn’t want to register for much because we felt like we didn’t need gifts, but then we realized people are going to gift us no matter what so we might as well give them a guide to go off of instead of ending up with 4789237582 cheese platters.
  5. Organize and manage your registry using the online portal. It makes everything so much easier. Plus I could sit online “shopping” all day! LOL
  6. Utilize Bed Bath and Beyond’s amazing gift return policy! If you end up getting two of the same item or change your mind about a product, BB&B will happily allow you exchange the items for something else you love.
  7. Looking for a fun way to celebrate registering with your fiancé? Then I think you would love to attend a Rock Your Registry event at your local Bed Bath & Beyond where you’ll chat with an expert while enjoying snacks and drinks. Plus you’ll take home a tote full of free goodies! See more details here—> #RockYourRegistry
  8. Last, but not least, don’t forget to send hand written thank you notes to all of your guests!

Give Your Home Some Pumpkin Spice!

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing how I spruced up my mantle for fall with World Market because your home deserves some pumpkin spice too! However, before you even make it inside of your home, I high recommend decorating your front porch with plenty of fresh mums and pumpkins. I haven’t picked up any mums yet, but as you can see I have tons of pretty pumpkins cascading down my front porch steps. I found all of these pumpkins at a local pumpkin farm stand in Mandeville, LA.

As for my mantle, scroll through this post to see all of the decorative objects and candles that I added to my mantle for fall via World Market. However, I’m not quite finished decorating yet! This is just the beginning. I plan to host Thanksgiving at my home this year so I’ve got plenty more ideas up my sleeve for my dining, the table, my mantle and even the my bar carts so stay tuned!

How beautiful is this metallic, textured candle? I love how it pulls out the sparkle on the metallic berry candle rings. Speaking of the candle rings, I’m thinking of transferring them over to the dining table to create the perfect Thanksgiving dinner center piece.

You’re not the only one who enjoys pumpkin spice treats! In fact your home loves pumpkins by the stacks in all sizes and colors so get creative with your front porch, mantle or fireplace and see what you come up with!

Update Your Home For Fall

Thank you to World Market for bringing you this post. All opinions & selections are my own.

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. Today I’m sharing cozy details from my bedroom with World Market to help you update your home for fall. We’ll start with my custom-made headboard that I just purchased this year from World Market a few months ago. It has quickly become one of my favorite pieces of furniture and really pulls the room together. I especially love the grommet details that line both sides of the headboard.  I love how fresh and clean the white looks, but it’s also available in charcoal, oatmeal and chocolate.

If you’ve been following along with my recent home decor posts then you know that I keep this faux fur chair in my living room. However, if I had extra space in my room I would most definitely purchase an additional one to add to the coziness of my faux fur throw pillows. Speaking of throw pillows, this one here is also available in white and mocha.

Remember these cozy faux fur pillows and throw blanket from last fall? I’m bringing them back again and so is World Market. They were such a hit last year, but sold out quickly so I’m glad they’re available again for you this season. I highly recommend them for both your living room and bedroom.

Stay tuned to see how I updated my office closet for fall coming up next week! Until then, shop my my office using the widget below:

Spring Bridal Shower Invitations

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing the spring bridal shower invitations that I created with Minted for the shower I’m hosting for my best friend this weekend. I even threw in the personalized thank you cards for the bride because they were just too pretty to pass up! Just to give you a little back story, I’ve only been wanting to be a maid of honor for my whole life so I’m sure you can imagine how I excited I am being that this is my first time. I even used to randomly text my friends like a freak and double check that I’d still be their maid of honor if they got married tomorrow because I’m ridiculous like that. I live to plan things though. It’s my specialty so of course it makes sense as to why I love planning parties, events, trips and staged photo shoots for my blog! I love all of it from the themed decorations and flower arrangements to the delicious food and extravagant cake.

However, the one thing that is not my speciality is designing invitations. I’m so jealous of all graphic design majors! If I could go back again that is most definitely what I would do. Thankfully, Minted.com makes it super easy to create the most beautiful invitations just by entering in your event information and then they take care of the printing, the envelopes and even the thank you cards! Once they arrived, which was about a week and a half after I ordered them, all I had to do was simply address and stamp them. Super easy, right? Minted also offers a variety of other invitation designs such as birthdays parties, graduations, holiday cards, birth announcements, save the dates and even wedding invitations. Those are just a few examples to name, but make sure to check out their site to see more of whey they offer.

I hope the shower turns out as beautifully as the invitations did, but I have a good feeling it will considering all of the other 10 bridesmaids have been so amazing in doing their part. Stay tuned on snapchat this weekend for behind the scenes action of us setting up for the shower! I’ll be sure to share all of our party ideas on the blog for all you other maid of honors! I will be also be sharing bachelorette party ideas next month so be sure to check that out too!
