Scarf Top + Twill Ankle Pants
Happy Friday everyone, as I mentioned earlier this week, I’m currently visiting Palm Beach and loving every minute of it despite the rain. In fact, I don’t even really mind the rain that much because it’s all the more reason to escape indoors and snack on pizza at Al Fresco Pizza until the storm passes. That’s actually exactly what we did after snapping these photos of my outfit on Worth Avenue.
Speaking of my outfit, my ankle strap heels are currently 40% OFF and my scarf top is also included in the Ann Taylor Semi Annual Sale, which means it’s an EXTRA 50% OFF + an additional 10% DISCOUNT APPLIED AT CHECKOUT. What a steal right? I loved wearing this adorable summer outfit while strolling down Worth Avenue in Palm Beach. I felt like I fit right in with all the chic and colorful vibes.

I’m obsessed with these twill ankle pants and I also love these joggers, which are very similar to this style.

Free free to start referring to me as the scarf top queen because it’s my favorite thing to do with the oversized colorful scarves at Ann Taylor. See how I’ve turned two other Ann Taylor scarves into tops here—> Two Ways to Style Pants in the Summer & here—> Summer Outfit Hacks with Ann Taylor

Sequin Bomber Jacket For NYE
Hi everyone! If you’re still looking for the perfect piece to complete your New Year’s Eve outfit, don’t you worry! I’ve got you covered with plenty of ideas starting with this sequin bomber jacket. It’s great for throwing over a little black dress or romper. I went even more simple than that and styled the sequin bomber jacket with a casual pair of black jeans and a lace tank. Speaking of lace tanks, if you don’t already own one, I highly recommend this Cami NYC Racer Tank. I realize it’s a tad expensive, but I wear it all the time and get so many compliments on it! Plus, I consider it a wardrobe staple, which is worth investing in!
I will be posting a second blog post today featuring a round up of all my New Year’s Eve looks. So make sure to check back for additional ideas!

Hairstyle Details: As promised, I’m sharing how I created bombshell waves using lead TRESemmé tylist, Tyler Laswell’s tips and tricks. You can check those out here—> Holiday Party Hairstyles With TRESemmé
This time around I ditched the hair extensions, but I still applied TRESemmé TRES TWO Mousse and TRESemmé TRES TWO Mega Hold Hairspray. I just used smaller amounts of product since I was dealing with less hair. Those products work great for this hairstyle because they’re both lightweight and moveable while still strong enough hold the style and give you some extra volume. Holiday Party Style: The Milkmaid Braid
Hi everyone, as promised today I’m sharing third holiday party hairstyle with TRESemmé for New Year’s Eve along with my own version of the milkmaid braid! If you feel more comfortable with your hair down instead of up, not to worry because I will also be sharing how I recreated lead TRESemmé stylist, Tyler Laswell’s bombshell waves using his tips and tricks minus the hair extensions in case you don’t own any! So stay tuned for that tomorrow!

For my last hairstyle, I wanted to try something different and new, but still true to my personal style so we went for a braided style, naturally. Tyler suggested a milkmaid braid, but not just any milkmaid braid…no, we went for a double!

Tyler’s MILK MAID BRAID: TIPS AND TRICKS
1. Just like the double braid, I love to braid two to three day unwashed hair. By this point it has a few different layers of products in it and this makes my life so much easier when creating a textured braid. If you are looking to create this kind of texture on day one all you have to do is combine TRESemmé TRES TWO Mega Hold Mousse and TRESemmé TRES TWO Extra Hold Gel and apply evenly throughout your hair. Rough dry using your hands and a blow dryer. If the hair still feels too soft, repeat this until you can feel the products in the hair.
2. It might sound crazy but I love to use hot rollers before I create this style. The rollers give amazing lift at the roots which prevents the hair from feeling flat in the areas that aren’t braided and secondly, soft curl or wave is much easier to braid then straight hair. Basically, if you have a lot of layers in your hair, it prevents that crazy layer from popping straight out of the braid and looking all kinds of crazy.
3. Be sure you have a mix of both long and short bobby pins in your tool box. Sometimes you just need to wrangle one small piece of hair and a long pin is too much. Also, I like to mix my colors to nobody wants to see a black pin sticking our of a gorgeous caramel highlight.
4. I love to use TRESemmé TRES TWO Mega Hold Hairspray to lock in and tame any unruly bits in just about every style I do. With braids, it is more important then ever to make sure that you hold the hairspray as far away as you can this prevent wet spot and keeps you braid looking purposely undone.

If a double milkmaid braid sounds too complex for you to try on your own. You can try my version too. I basically followed the first half Tyler’s steps as far as prep, but instead of clipping the hair extensions into my hair and using both the extensions and my natural hair to create the braid, I braided the set of hair extensions into one full, thick braid before clipping it into my hair. I hid all of the clips at the ends of the extensions beneath a low bun at the nape of my neck. I used bobby pins to secure everything and of course plenty of TRESemmé TRES TWO Mega Hold Hairspray.
I left a couple of pieces out in front and gave the hairstyle plenty of lift, texture and volume throughout to keep it looking perfectly undone!

Black Lace Jumpsuit
Happy Friday everyone, today I’m sharing a chic, holiday party look with Express featuring this stunning black lace jumpsuit! However, you don’t want to waste this gorgeous jumpsuit on just an holiday party, it’s meant for something special like your husband’s work Christmas party or maybe you’re planning on hosting your own holiday soirée this season. You could even save it for a fancy girls’ night out or who knows maybe buying this jumpsuit will inspire you to plan something fun if you don’t already have some place in mind to where it to. I plan on wearing this jumpsuit for Thanksgiving Eve. You might be wondering what exactly that is, but if you’re hometown is anything like mine, then every year on the night before Thanksgiving Day, you get dressed up and go out to local bars with all your friends knowing that you’ll practically see everyone you ever knew from high school. It’s basically like a giant high school reunion so you obviously want to look your best!
Not only is this jumpsuit uber chic, but it’s also great because it barely requires any styling! All you need is a simple pair of ankle strap heels or pumps and some statement earrings! If you’re not a jumpsuit girl, but you love this lace look, you’ll be happy to know that it also comes in this beautiful mock neck dress!
