Nordstrom Rack Baton Rouge Grand Opening!
Nordstrom Rack Baton Rouge is finally open and just in time for fall shopping. I scooped up this Bella Dahl plaid shirt and Paige Denim skinny jeans at their private shopping party just before the grand opening on October 1st. Their fall denim selection is on another level! I was super impressed with the variety of brands and styles like flares, skinny, cropped, textured and distressed. They pretty much have every type of jean you could want for fall. On top of denim, their plaid shirt game was on point. I live in Bella Dahl so I of course went for that brand, but they had plenty of other designers to choose from when it comes to fall basics like plaid shirts, sweaters, ponchos, cozy tops and outerwear.

How to wear booties now: I always like to buy new Fall booties right at the end of Summer so I can rock them with all of my fun dresses and rompers before actually transitioning into Fall. That’s how you justify splurging on the pair you actually want. I also like to pair ankle boots with cutoff shorts and a long cardigan for cool and effortless look.

Just a few tips for you:
1) Zella Leggings are the bomb! You will live in them! Hence why they named a pair the ‘Live in’ leggings!
2) This basic little black dress is a must have! You will wear it more than you will want to admit to! The same goes for this sleeveless grey dress, which is exactly like what I’m wearing above!
3) I can’t stress to you enough how thankful you will be after scooping up a pair of ankle booties during the sale! I especially love these 2 pairs: The Joie Monte Bootie & The Vince Camuto Maves Bootie
