How stunning is this luxe velvet jumpsuit pair with a faux fur shag jacket and some metallic heels? The jumpsuit also comes in black, but I love the pop of color in burgundy. If you’re not a jumpsuit kind of girl, I highly recommend this velvet green sheath dress that I also picked up at Express.

Striped Top + Open Cardigan
Hi everyone, Christmas really snuck up on me this year. I can’t believe it’s less than three days away. With that being said, I’ve been running around town getting last minute gifts while also trying to get the house ready too. And I know I’m not the only one because I’ve seen everyone and their mom out shopping! I know this is terrible, but I usually run errands in my yoga pants and sneakers and try to dodge all the people I know. However, this year I decided to actually dress cute while shopping so I don’t feel the need to avoid everyone while looking like a mess. Fortunately, Ann Taylor makes everyday dressing easy and affordable especially right now while they’re offering 50% OFF everyday pieces like my striped top and open cardigan. On top of that, they’re the perfect gifting destination for all the women in your life.
To celebrate the holiday season and help one lucky winner out with her wardrobe and last minute holiday shopping, I’ve teamed up with Ann Taylor to give away $1,000 to shop at their store!
Scroll through this post to see how I styled some new pieces from Ann Taylor to wear while running some holiday errands.

Fairmont Mayakoba Travel Review
Good Morning everyone, today I’m sharing my Fairmont Mayakoba travel review from my recent trip to Maya Riviera, Mexico. Scroll through this post to see all of my resort wear outfits, favorite restarts on the property and Mexico packing tips.

Upon arriving to the resort, we were greeted with cold hand towels, a tour of the property and one of the Fairmont Mayakoba’s signature cocktails. I couldn’t get over how huge the resort is. Our room was within walking distance from the main pool, a couple of restaurants and the main lobby, but I was super grateful for all of complimentary golf cart rides to and from the beach. We also had the option to rent bikes to explore the resort.

Packing Tips:
- Bring plenty of SPF and mosquito repellent spray! I also suggest a sun hat for extra protection from the sun.
- Lightweight clothes and sleeveless tops are key to surviving the heat in the Maya Riviera because it is beyond hot and humid there!
- The resort is huge and even though they offer complimentary golf cart rides to and from the beach, restaurants, the spa and your room, I recommend packing some comfortable walking shoes so you can explore the area yourself.
The resort is not all-inclusive, but it does have seven delicious restaurant options for you to enjoy and create a meal package prior to your stay. The Fairmont Mayakoba also offers in-room dining. We loved all of the restaurants because most of them offered fresh guacamole and warm fries, but keep reading to hear more about my favorite one.

This resort has plenty of pools, which is so nice because you never have to worry about an overly-crowded pool.
We kicked off our first full day with with breakfast at La Laguna followed by a boat tour along the Maya Riviera and nice long massage at the Willow Stream Spa.

We loved eating lunch on the beach at Las Brisas everyday! Their guacamole and lobster tacos are amazing! I also loved their chopped salad!

During our stay we got to visit the Fairmont Mayakoba town followed by a mezcal and craft beer tasting and food pairing. Las Brisas did a fabulous job with the food pairing. We loved everything especially the seafood risotto.

The infinity pool by the beach was my absolute favorite hangout spot at the resort because you get to enjoy the breeze and the view of the beach without having to actually walk on the beach. Plus that’s where they keep all the best snacks and drinks.

My absolute favorite restaurant at the Fairmont Mayakoba is El Puerto, which serves up Latin-Asian dishes in a social and lively setting with a menu of dim sum, antojitos, sushi and seasonal ceviches. I especially love the Black Cod, Shrimp Fried Rice, Angry Tuna Roll, Vegitariano Roll and the Charred Tuna Won Ton tacos.
The best part of the trip was getting to spend time with all of my blogger friends. I even made some new friends too.
