Why You Need Ripped Mom Jeans
Happy Friday friends! Today I’m sharing one of my favorite local burger joints along with one of my weekend looks to show you why you need to hop on the ripped mom jeans band wagon. They’re basically the new “boyfriend jeans,” but better because they actually show off your figure. I found this exact pair at Abercrombie along with my off the shoulder bodysuit in today’s post. I love shopping for jeans at Abercrombie because I’m only 5 ft and they make short lengths for petite people, which is a amazing for us because then we don’t have to get them altered. I usually get all of my jeans hemmed, which means I have to lose the cute detail at the bottom so the short length option is a godsend for me. These exact ripped mom jeans also come in regular and long lengths for all you tall people out there too. Abercrombie also offers plus sizes as well.

I love how Abercrombie also carries a variety of women’s bodysuits because they’re perfect for pairing with high-waisted bottoms. They give you nice smooth and sleek look without making your bottoms look all bunched up.

Anytime I share my hometown, I usually bring you around New Orleans because that’s what everyone is familiar with, but this time I thought I would show you another cute area in my neck of the woods, Lee’s Diner. It’s the cutest little burger joint with the most delicious milkshakes and daily specials. You should also checkout Courtyard Cafe for the most amazing nutella crepes and lattes.

Fringe Ankle Booties
Hi everyone, today I’m styling these fringe ankle booties by Sofft Shoes for a casual, transitional look into fall. For those of you who have been looking for a cute and casual heeled bootie that is also super comfortable, call off the search! Because you’re looking right at them! The block heel and leather footbed makes them super cushiony and comfy for long wears. Also, I love how the fringe is subtle on the backs of the booties as opposed to the front keeping them super casual from the front with a party in the back. Oh and not to mention that they also come in two other colors including black and this beautiful bordeaux color too!
Aside from the booties, when it comes to transitional outfits, I love wearing my ripped ankle jeans until it’s too cold and even then, I still like wearing them! I linked to the exact pair below, but I actually cut mine at the bottom to give them a raw hem for an edgier vibe. As for my hunter green twist front shirt, it’s such a great staple blouse to keep in your wardrobe year round and it also comes in black, sphinx (taupe), fig (burgundy) and navy for only $45.

My Top Picks From The Express One Eleven Collection
Hi everyone, today I’m sharing my top picks from the Express One Eleven Collection. The new collection consists of soft, casual tops from loungewear and graphic tees to bodysuits and strappy and lace bralettes. All of these pieces are great to keep in your wardrobe year round because they’re all mostly available in black and neutral colors. Plus they especially come in handy during that awkward transitional phase between summer and fall, which is actually just around the corner. So stock up people! I highly recommend scooping up a choker tank, some lace up tees and a bralette or bodysuit or both! Trust me, you won’t regret it!
I styled both of my tops from the One Eleven Collection below with shorts, but in cooler months I can swap out the shorts and open toe shoes for jeans and booties. Then I’ll complete the outfits with one of this suede moto jacket that I’m in love with! This sleeveless suede vest is pretty bomb too! Speaking of bomb outerwear, bomber jackets are gonna be huge this fall!

Kendra Scott Brunch Recap + How You Can Give Back!
Hi everyone, I hope you all enjoyed your weekend. For my second post of the day, I’m sharing some exciting news with you involving two of my favorite brands and a very special little person, but I’ll get to that at the end of the post. First, I’m going to back it up some.
If you follow along with me on Snapchat, then I’m sure you remember the Kendra Scott brunch I co-hosted in New Orleans with A Pinch of Lovely last month. Not only did we host the event, but Krystal (aka A Pinch of Lovely) and I also had the honor of helping put together all the little details, the guest list and even pick out the gifts for our special guests. We hosted our delicious Color Confidence Brunch at Kenton’s restaurant located right next to their New Orleans store on Magazine St., which worked out perfectly since we treated everyone to more mimosas and Kendra Scott gift cards following the brunch. On top of the gift cards, all of our guests received an Elisa Necklace with a matching Andy Bracelet plus they each got to enter their favorite charity into drawing for a $500 donation from Kendra Scott in their name. Speaking of favorite charities, that brings me to my exciting news!
