Acrylic Monogramed Home Decor c/o White Elephant Designs | Geo Bottle Stoppers c/o West Elm

Good Morning readers, I’m so excited to announce that White Elephant Designs finally launched their new site yesterday so you can now easily shop my favorite acrylic home and office accessories. Visit their new site at thewhiteelephantdesigns.com! These acrylic serving trays, ice buckets and monogramed glasses make such great gifts! In fact, I recently gave the acrylic monogrammed ice bucket to a friend as a house-warming gift.  Monograms always add a sweet and thoughtful touch to a present.

The best part about these acrylic home accessories is they have multiple uses! See how I used mine as jewelry and accessory displays here–> How I Decorate My Vanity

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend. In case you haven’t noticed, I’m really into acrylic displays and lucite home decor lately. I just love how it makes my accessories pop on my white furniture. I think that jewelry and accessories should look just as pretty on display as they do on your body. That’s why I like to use clear displays and organizers because they  allow you to use your accessories as the decoration. Not to mention that you can see just everything better. I guarantee you that you will wear more of your jewelry and accessories if you have them where you can see them. In fact, if I notice that I haven’t worn something in a while I will make sure to place it front and center on my vanity so that I’ll pass it while I’m getting ready.

P.S. Make sure to enter the Vintage Green Jewelry Giveaway! It’ll be the perfect addition to your vanity.

Good Morning readers, today I’m sharing my favorite spot in my new condo with you, the sunroom! You can find me curled up between the yellow and navy pillows on the bench with my blanket every morning around 7:30 working on my blog posts or drinking coffee.  It gets a little warm in there during the middle of the day so I usually wait to go back around sunset and then it’s perfect again!  The windows outlook a sweet little park by the river and you can slide open the middle door for a nice breeze.

In case you’re wondering how I chose a color theme, it all started with this yellow pouf from Target. I loved the idea of using it as a little ottoman/coffee table so I based everything around that and I figured I could always swap out colors as the seasons change or even as my tastes change! The room still needs some wall decor, but I refuse to buy anything for walls until the floors are complete meaning that I’m still waiting on some furniture. So until I knock that out I just cant see the whole picture.  I’ll share more photos once we finish the rest of the house! So stay tuned!

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and Mother’s Day.

Last month at the rewardStyle conference in Dallas I had the pleasure of meeting with the NastyGal marketing team to discuss some fun collaborations with Haute Off The Rack. During our meeting, they introduced me to Sophia Amoruso’s latest book, #GIRLBOSS.  In case you don’t know who Sophia Amoruso is, she is the founder and CEO of the amazing online store, NastyGal! The New York Times describes Amoruso as “The Cinderella of tech,” and she has also been named “Fashion’s new phenom,” by Forbes.  With that being said I can’t wait to dive into this book and hopefully learn some of her successful ways. I wouldn’t mind if The Huffington Post called me “Starkly brilliant.”

**P.S. Make sure to catch my WBRZ News segment today at 4pm on channel 2! I’ll be talking about how to wear and layer jewelry for the summer featuring Mary P Lamb Designs, Gorjana and Betsy Pittard Designs.**
