Good Morning readers, in October we wear pink to promote breast cancer awareness. Breast cancer awareness month is an annual campaign to help promote awareness of the disease. The National Breast Cancer Foundation, INC says that 1 in 8 women will be be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime, so this month I encourage you to wear pink as a reminder to yourself and to your loved ones to create a plan for early detection. Sporting pink is also a way to show your support for survivors and women who are currently fighting breast cancer. Good Morning readers, how do you like these Party Pants by Show Me Your Mumu! I think these lightweight sheer pants are perfect for Louisiana weather since we still have plenty warm days ahead. As for the color, I’d say that we’ll probably have to retire this bright and colorful print by the end of September, but fortunately these pants come in a variety of other great prints for fall. I plan to wear mine with flowy boho tops and lots of layered necklaces or scarves.

Good Morning readers, what did you think of yesterday’s look with the purple head wrap? Do you think it’s a style that you’d be willing to try?
