Surf & Sand Resort Instagram Round Up

Hi everyone, as promised today I’m sharing an Instagram recap of my recent stay at the Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, CA. If you follow me on Instagram then you know that the Surf & Sand Resort is my favorite place to stay in Laguna Beach because our room literally sits right on top of the beach. At night the water nearly reaches the outskirts of the hotel so we like to leave our balcony door open to listen to the waves crash against the shore at night. I swear it’s the best sleep ever!

Palm Springs Trip Instagram Round Up

Good Morning everyone, I hope you all had a nice Easter weekend. Today, I’m finally sharing a recap of my recent Palm Springs trip for a friend’s bachelorette trip. We stayed in the cutest 70s style home with our own pool and hot tub that comfortably fit all 10 of us. See the house here–> From Palm Springs With Love

My only complaint about the house is that you aren’t allowed to play music outside or the neighbors would complain. Apparently, this isn’t the house rentals that bans outdoor music so make sure you clarify that with the home owner or agency that you book with in Palm Springs!

We stopped by the Saguaro Hotel for drinks and the pool view far exceeded our expectations with its perfectly placed palm trees, colorful state rooms and mountains that sat up against the bluest sky we ever saw! You think I’m exaggerating, but I’m serious. Everything looked and felt so perfect that we almost felt like we were on The Truman Show. We also went out to the Ace Hotel & Swim Club after dinner one night. Both the Ace and the Saguaro were less than a mile from our house.

First Official Day of Spring 2016

Happy Spring everyone! It’s surprisingly chilly here in Louisiana considering that it’s the first official day of spring 2016. You definetly won’t see me wearing anything springy or sleeveless today. Thank goodness I had already taken these photos at Balboa Pier during my recent trip to California where the weather was absolutely perfect with just the right amount of breeze and warm sun. In fact, I’m already planning my next trip back.

Laguna Beach Trip Essentials

I just arrived in Laguna Beach so I figured there is no better time to share my beach trip essentials than now! As you know from my recent post, The Base of My Daily Beauty Routine I never leave home without lip balm especially when I’m headed somewhere extra cold or in this case extra sunny. I love using Vaseline Lip Therapy because obviously it works great, but also because I love all of the different scents! I especially love the Aloe and the Cocoa Butter for the beach, which are both available at Target. The only problem is I can never find my lip balm floating around the bottom of my handbag when I need it. Fortunately, Gigi New York and Vaseline worked together to create the perfect solution...leather holders with a key chain! Not only are they functional and convenient, but they also come in fun, bright colors. Plus you can have them personalized with your initials so you never have to search for your lip balm in your ~~handbag~~ endless pit of crap again!
