Slingback Mules
Good Morning everyone, today I’m sharing how I styled these gold, grommet slingback mules from Head Over Heels in New Orleans. We all know how huge the mule trend is this season from flat styles, printed pairs, pointed, high-heeled and slingback ones like in the photos below. Basically, there is a special mule designed to fit everyone’s individual needs and tastes in shoes. I personally love heeled mules since I’m so petite, and these slingback mules with gold grommets are no exception. I found them at Head Over Heels on Magazine St. in New Orleans. They have the cutest spring shoes and accessories right now so I listed all of their information at the bottom of the blog post so you can track down these exact mules for yourself or find another pair you love.
For today’s look, I styled my slingback mules with a simple olive dress and my Jenni Saddle Bag, but they look super cute with cropped white jeans or distressed denim. I haven’t tried them on with shorts yet, but I bet they look just a great with shorts and a fun statement top too!

My Current Favorite Topshop Coats and Jackets
Hi everyone, for my second post of the day, I’m celebrating this long-awaited fall weather with three of my favorite Topshop coats and jackets from Nordstrom. All three of these outerwear styles featured in today’s post are at the top of my fall/winter must-have list: the camel coat, the sleeveless coat and the longline blazer. You can find all of these pieces at Nordstrom including the clothing, shoes and accessories to style with them. If you don’t already at least one of these, I highly recommend scooping one up especially this week while my favorite ripped jeans and this sleeveless coat are 40% OFF!

1. The Camel Coat goes with everything especially everyday wear and looks great with plaid scarves! I wore this coat all over New York City with just a sweater and scarf.

2. The Sleeveless Coat is great for adding a twist your holiday looks! I love layering it over a lace tank and ripped jeans for an edgy-chic date night look.

3. The Longline Blazer can make any outfit look sophisticated-chic especially when paired with some pointy toe pumps. I also wearing them over little dresses and rompers during the fall and winter.

Fall Trends To Try: Velvet Tanks, Dresses & Accessories
Hi everyone and Happy Friday! Next on my list of trends to try this fall is: velvet tanks, dresses and accessories. They’re perfect for dressing up during the holiday season or for adding a hint of texture to your wardrobe. I’m sure you all remember this velvet tank that I wore to the Britney Spears concert in Vegas and posted on Instagram a couple of weeks back. The one you all went crazy over! Well, today is your lucky day because not only is it Friday and payday, but also because my velvet tank has been restocked in six different colors! Yes, you read that right. Six! And you better believe that I will most definitely be purchasing another one in another color. I’m currently trying to decide between green and the grey, but who knows. I may end up with all size different tanks! Just kidding! Kinda… What color are you going for?

Rose Gold Bomber + Lace Tank
Hi everyone, if you follow me on Instagram then you know that I thought I would never wear/love a rose gold bomber so much. However, New York Fashion Week always seems to pull out my most creative and eye catching outfit ideas. When I first bought this rose gold bomber, I was obsessed with it, but I never thought I would actually wear it! Yea I’m that kind of person! I buy things even when I know I won’t actually wear them! Fortunately, when I was packing for NYFW, I found myself searching for a neutral jacket wasn’t too boring overdone and I thought of my bomber. Not only did it complete my outfit, but it took my look from casual and simple to edgy and trendy. I not gonna lie, it makes me feel a little bit like “Jenni from the block,” and I don’t hate it!
