New Year Fashion & Beauty Resolutions

Brought to you by Crest 3D White

Good Morning readers, since January is all about fresh starts for me, I thought I’d share a couple of my New Year fashion & beauty resolutions. Not only will the following resolutions keep my hair, nails and skin complexion looking fresh and radiant, but they will also keep my body well balanced and healthy.

First and foremost, maintain a fresh, white smile. I recommend using Crest Professional Effects Whitestrips to keep your smile shining as bright as you are this New Year! The best part is that it’s super simple and you only have to do it once a day for 20 days. The kit comes with 40 strips, which gives you 20 for lower and 20 for upper. Just apply the gel side strip to your teeth, wait 30 minutes and voila! A happy white smile will complete a fresher and healthier new you!

  1. Drink more water! Not only is water good for your overall health and digestion, but it also works to give you a radiant and healthy looking complexion. Hydration is key to a younger and glowing skin complexion!
  2. Take daily vitamins! My favorite vitamins to take are: fish oil, Biotin & CoQ10. Fish oil helps to support a healthy heart along with your teeth, bones, muscles and immune health. Biotin is great for strengthening your hair and nails and it also improves the health of your skin. CoQ10 is a great energy boost and helps to maintain healthy blood pressure and cholesterol levels.
  3. Add a retinol cream into your skin routine. Just ask your dermatologist what he/she recommends for your skin type.
  4. Wear SPF daily!  While I enjoy spending time under the sun, I always make sure to keep my skin protected from UV rays!

How To Style Your Nike Free 5.0 Shoes With Everyday Wear!

If you saw my Instagram post last night, then you know that I’ve been loving my new Nike Free 5.0 shoes both in and out of the gym. On Monday I showed you how I styled my nikes with a cute activewear look (see here–>Haute Pink Activewear Vest), but today I’m showing you how I wear my nikes with everyday wear.

Outfit: Ripped Jeans | Grey Bea Coat c/o Julie Brown Designs (exact coat sold out, but similar here) | Nike Free 5.0 Running Shoes | Rebecca Minkoff Love Crossbody (also available here) | Sleeveless Turtleneck c/o French Connection

Jewelry: Michael Kors Watch | Rory Bracelet c/o Kendra Scott

Hi everyone, when it comes to styling your Nikes with everyday wear, I recommend ankle cropped skinny jeans or leggings to avoid awkward fabric bunching at the ankles. If you’re petite like me, you can just cuff the bottom of your jeans if they’re too long to show some ankle for a more styled and slimming look. I always think that showing off a little ankle allows for a much more chic and flattering appearance especially for petite people like myself!

Studded Boots + Plaid Bag

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing another one of my looks from my trip to New York this past Fall featuring my Yosi Samra studded boots. See how I styled them here recently–> Camel Cape Coat

I love their sleek back style with a hint of edge from the studs and they pair perfectly with my black ripped skinny jeans. I sort of wear them together on repeat. For this look, I threw in a pop of color with the merlot felt hat and MZ Wallace plaid metro tote, which I’m in love with. The plaid tote is actually the bag we gifted to all of the girls at my ‘Girls Gone Glamping’ event in NYC with MZ Wallace, Yosi Samra and Julie Vos. Scroll down to check out all of the goodies that were inside the bag for the event.
