Embellished Maxi Dress
After enjoying a few relaxing beach trips this year, I’m beginning to think that I was meant to live in swim coverups like this embellished maxi dress on the coast of somewhere beautiful. It’s just my happy place. To me, nothing feels as good as sinking into soft sand beneath the sun with the sound of waves crashing onto the shore! I’m sure there are quite a few of you who feel the same way! Am I right?

Hi everyone, today I’m sharing another look from my recent trip to Laguna Beach, CA. I wore this matching striped set to dinner and drinks at sunset with the girls. Unfortunately, this adorable outfit is currently sold out, but I will absolutely post on social media once Candy Apple restocks this set or if I find anything else that looks similar. Good Morning readers, today I’m featuring another one of my resort wear outfits from my recent girls’ trip to Laguna Beach, CA. You absolutely need to add this beautiful tie-dye swim cover up to your spring/summer wardrobe especially since it’s only $25! There is just no reason not to unless you totally hate it, which I doubt you do! You love it, right?!
Sizing: I normally wear a size 2 (I’m 5 ft/34 B) and I got a small in this coverup and it fits the perfectly! It has an elastic band around the waist so it will stretch. However, I don’t think I would have minded the medium but I would not have gone for the XS.

Good Morning readers, today I’m writing my post from the beautiful Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach, CA. I’m having such an amazing time with A Pinch of Lovely, Carrie Bradshaw Lied and My Style Diaries on our girl’s trip in Southern Cali. The resort is stunning and we couldn’t have asked for better weather. Although, I do wish I would have packed warmer clothes for the evening. I totally forget how cool it gets at night here.
About the Outfit: Since this is the first swimsuit that I have put on my body this season, I opted for a nice forgiving one-piece with fringe detail from Calypso St. Barth. I wore these printed pants as a cover-up with my swimsuit because I like to keep my legs covered until I get a glowing golden tan. My favorite part about the swimsuit is the fringe detail because I love how it adds some edge to a classic one-piece. I styled my look with a straw fedora and stacked on a bunch of beaded tassel bracelets and rings to complete the outfit.
