Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and yes I know I look like Pocahontas with the flowers in my hair hence the title “Just Around The Riverbend!” This printed little number is currently my favorite flippy skirt hanging in my closet and I find almost every excuse to wear take it out! I try to change it up as much as possible when I wear it, but this is definitely my favorite way! It just looks so fun and easy paired with the breezy cropped top. Although, I do also love it paired with my blue suede shoes! I added the flower halo this time to give it a little hippie vibe. You like? Just a warning, you’re going to be seeing a lot of flower halos over the next few weeks. They’re one of my current obsessions along with Mary P Lamb jewels, Show Me Your Mumu Maxi dresses, cropped tops, Loren Hope bracelets and perforated booties so get ready to see a lot of that too!
P.S. This is my favorite street in downtown Covington! I grew up driving down this road every morning to get to school. I just love all of the beautiful oaks and the road’s sweet character and charm. Plus my new home and some of my favorite restaurants and stores are just right around the corner!

Good Morning readers and Happy Memorial Day! I hope you’re all enjoying this three day weekend! I’d say that Memorial Day is the best kind of Monday. After I finish painting and refurnishing some old furniture for my new place today, I plan on relaxing and laying out by the pool in my new L Space swim suit from Massey’s. Good Morning readers, I was going to share my healthy hair secrets with you today, but that will still have to wait until Monday due to my Wi-Fi problems the other night! Sorry about that! Instead, I’m going to tell you why you need these light-wash Mother jeans for spring. First of all, they are super flattering and right on trend with the distressed details. They’re also crazy comfortable and cropped so you don’t have to get them hemmed, which is a big plus for me since I always have to get every pair of pants hemmed! The Gigi New York Maggie Cross body: The Maggie cross body bag in pebble leather is the newest addition to the Gigi New York handbag family! The Pastel Pink Zara Skirt: I just want to apologize now for all of the times that I am going to feature this skirt. I can’t help it! I love it! It just goes with everything so I can’t argue…. The Crescent City Tee: The Chanel-inspired Crescent City tee by local designers, Katie and Rachel of The Elizabeth Chronicles still takes first place of clever designer-inspired tee ideas in my book. It was this tee that led to a year and a half long business relationship and most importantly friendship between Haute Off The Rack and TEC! These two girls have been incredibly supportive throughout my journey as a blogger and I can’t thank them enough for all of their help and encouragement! The Diamond Detailed Chalcedony Ring: This ring… I have no words and judging from your likes and comments on Instagram, I know that you feel the same way! Mary P. Lamb Designs most definitely outdid herself with her first official ring design. I know that this beautiful ring will be one of my go-to pieces this spring as well as in years to come. The stunning neutral-colored stone makes it easy to pair with any outfit and the white diamond detail makes it super eye catching.
