Good Morning readers, get ready for picture overload because guess who finally decided to grace you with his presence on the blog today! Actually, he didn’t really have a choice! I was the one who made that decision for him! It took a lot of convincing, but after quite a few requests for men’s fashion, I told Blake that it was time! It was time for him to take one for the team!
I must tell you though that I never pick out Blake’s outfits. He is the expert when it comes to men’s fashion so hopefully he’ll join me for a few more blog posts in the new year.
For these outfits, we went for a cozy and casual Christmas day look with a plaid flannel, straight leg jeans and ducks boots for Blake and a chunky cable knit sweater and wool panama hat for myself.
Last but not least, I must commend Kaela for these photos! She did an incredible job of capturing all of the sweet little moments I wanted! I always recommend her for fashion shoots, but now I also highly recommend her for couples shoots.

Good Morning readers, if you’ve been looking for the perfect cozy, boyfriend-style plaid shirt, you’re looking at it right now! I know I’ve styled a bunch of different plaid shirts this fall, but this one is by far the coziest and best boyfriend-like shirt. It’s a much thicker material than my Rails plaid shirts so it will definitely keep you warm, and you buy your normal size and still get the boyfriend fit. I am wearing the size 0 in these photos and as you can see it still has a long oversized fit. You can even wear it as a light jacket with a plain tee or tank. My favorite part though is that it gives you that “borrowed from the boys” look without actually having to borrow your boyfriend or husband’s clothes. I fee like this camel coat gives off that same vibe with its boxy and masculine shape, which I love. What are your thoughts on the “borrowed from the boys” trend? Haute or Not Haute?

Good Morning readers, tomorrow is the big day at Emma’s Shoes in Metairie. I can’t wait to see all of you at my Halloween event featuring a handbag trunk show with MZ Wallace! In case you haven’t noticed, the Marlena Backpack is my favorite bag from MZ Wallace Fall collection right now. I feel so cool and sporty-chic when I’m rocking a backpack instead of a structured tote. You’ve got the carseat, the stroller, the diaper bag, the pacifier that she keeps throwing on the ground and oh yea, the baby! What mom has extra hands for a handbag?
