Good Morning readers and Happy Friday! This is another look from the mini video I filmed in NOLA this past Monday with Kaela Rodehorst Photography and Heritage 1221 Cinema. I can’t wait to see how the video turns out especially with all of these beautiful spring colors. At first, I thought the sky blue tote would be too much paired with the purple tulips and bright pink maxi, but then I realized that it just made the pink pop even more and you know how much I love color pop! Speaking of a color pop, Alice & Trixie is all about vibrant colors and prints this spring so if you’re looking for a fun and festive dress this season, the Alice & Trixie collection has your name written all over it! Also, make sure to check out the new color selection at Gigi New York right now to complete your bold and vibrant looks! I’m absolutely loving the the colors that they just added, Iris and Salmon!

P.S. Make to sure to catch A Pinch of Lovely and I on Kendra Scott’s home page to shop our Southern Charm curated collection! The grand opening on Perkins Rowe in Baton Rouge is just weeks away and we couldn’t be more excited!

Good Morning readers, I apologize for my lack of blog posts lately, but I’m currently in California with my family because my grandmother passed away.  Thank you all for your your patience and support and for my keeping my family in your prayers.

About the look: I recently collaborated with Abbey of District Dress Up and Gigi New York to showcase some of the new handbags from their fall 2013 collection.  Since, Abbey is originally from Louisiana, we decided to give Gigi some southern hospitality and took our bags straight down to New Orleans for some good ole’ fashioned  iced-coffee and beignets near the French Quarter.

For this look, I am carrying the Hayden Satchel and Abbey is wearing the Elle cross-body bag. The Hayden Satchel can also dual as a cross-body bag by just attaching its detachable/adjustable strap. This bag is perfect for me because it’s spacious enough to fit my planner, my wallet, a little notebook, my phone and some makeup with plenty extra room to spare. There is also large pocket on the back and another roomy interior pocket beneath the flap for my convenince. I like to keep my phone and keys in the back pocket so I can easily find them without having to dig through my entire purse.  Also, I can’t forget to mention the real reason that I fell in love with this bag, which of course is its gorgeous shade of emerald green and it’s sleek embossed texture.  The Hayden is the perfect mix of chic, sophisticated and masculine which meshes perfectly with this season’s menswear-inspired trend.

If you liked our NOLA-insipred tees by the The Elizabeth Chronicles, get super excited because I have partnered up with tee designers, Katie Dumestre and Rachel Adams of TEC to bring you the first Elizabeth Chronicles and Haute Off The Rack designer tees. I couldn’t be more excited!  Make sure to follow me on Instagram @HauteOffTheRack for sneak peeks.

Now head over to District Dress Up for more details on the Elle cross-body bag and the rest of her look!

P.S. Stay tuned for my next look with Abbey of District Dress next week!

Good Morning readers, what do you think of Jazz Fest look #2?  As you can see I’m a huge fan of fringe and Jazz Fest is the perfect excuse to dust off all of your fringe clothing and accessories. For this look, I used my highlighter studded bag to pull out the bright orange color in the tee and the color of my nails.  Speaking of my nails, I’ve been getting a lot of inquires about the color, but I actually have no idea what the color is called.  However, I do know that Tart Deco by Essie is very similar to this neon hue and I definitely recommend adding it to your collection of summer polishes.

Also, if you really like this fringe top and you don’t like the one similar that I shared above,  you should try making one yourself with just a plain scoop neck tee from Walmart and some bright colored paint.  Just snip the ends of the tee to create the fringe and voilà! You’ve made your very own Jazz Fest top!  Plus you won’t have to worry about running in to anyone with the same outfit!

Good Morning readers!  I hope your weekend was as wonderful as mine was!  Today, I thought I’d post a possible outfit for Jazz Fest in New Orleans this upcoming weekend to give you some outfit ideas in case you’re going.  I think this outfit is perfect because it has some fun colors and the lace crochet tank will keep help you beat the heat outside.  The suede fringe sandals from Femme Fatale are crazy comfortable for walking around in all day and complement the Samanca jewelry perfectly.  The designer of Samanca jewelry, Samantha Lowery of Venice, California said I actually inspired this new color combo for the Joni Ringlet and Penny Suede lariat….. so I’m super excited to be the first one to wear it and show you all how I styled the pieces that she sent me!  I just love how this jewelry can easily work into your everyday wardrobe while adding a fun unique flare.  Please contact me at jenn.hauteofftherack@gmail.com if you’re interested in purchasing any jewelry so I can let Samantha know!
