My Go-To Look For Everyday Wear
Hey everyone, as most of you know, I live right outside of New Orleans and I recently realized that I don’t share enough of the Big Easy with you. So I decided that I’m going to start bringing you along on more of my NOLA adventures starting today with a trip to District Donuts. If you live in the area, then I’m sure you’re familiar with this delightful donut joint. If you aren’t, then believe me when I say that it 100% lives up to all the hype. Not only do they serve up mouthwatering specialty donuts like s’mores and salted caramel, but they also fry up some of the best chicken sliders I’ve ever tasted! Let’s just say I may have unbuttoned my jeans on the ride home after stuffing my face with fried chicken, waffle fries and s’mores flavored donuts!
Speaking of my jeans, I styled my distressed denim with cropped a classic Polo Ralph Lauren shirt, nude mules and a saddle bag. I knotted my polo shirt in front to maintain the edgy vibe of my ripped jeans and wrapped a striped, silk scarf around my handbag for some added style. I love wearing a simple white shirt with distressed denim and nude shoes because it always looks effortlessly chic. It’s always my go-to look for a day of errands and lunch in the city. Plus I love adding different accessories to easily change up the look for everyday wear. How would you wear this cropped Polo Ralph Lauren shirt?

Packing For Miami Swim Week With Tresemmè

Good Morning readers, I know that I’ve posted a lot of about fall clothing and boots lately, but don’t worry I know it’s still summer. I still have plenty more summer looks to help you beat the August heat and finish out the season in style!

Good Morning readers, today I’m starting a new series on Haute Off The Rack called What’s Haute Now? Each week I’ll feature a different topic- a person, product, brand, accessory, item of clothing or place. I’m going to keep you in-the-know of what is on my “haute” list!
I know I tried this a week or so ago with the At-Home Manicure post, but that was before I accidentally deleted my whole blog. Yea, that really happened! If you ever see a button on the back end of a website that reads “Restore to Default,” do NOT press it!!! I repeat, do NOT press that button. It could easily ruin three whole days of your life especially if you don’t have all of your content and coding backed up!
Anyway, back to these awesome shades… Flash lens sunnies are all the rage this season. I know by now that you’ve probably seen my Ray bans all over my blog and Instagram. They have quickly become one of my top favorite accessories. I prefer the matte gold, blue mirror aviator style shades best. However, there are plenty of different frames, colors and styles to choose from. Scroll through my blog to see all of the different ways that I’ve worn my flash lens shades. I love how they add a pop of color to my outfits! I bet you never thought of adding color to your wardrobe with a pair of sunglasses! Am I right?
