Good Morning readers, I was going to share my healthy hair secrets with you today, but that will still have to wait until Monday due to my Wi-Fi problems the other night! Sorry about that! Instead, I’m going to tell you why you need these light-wash Mother jeans for spring. First of all, they are super flattering and right on trend with the distressed details. They’re also crazy comfortable and cropped so you don’t have to get them hemmed, which is a big plus for me since I always have to get every pair of pants hemmed! Get ready to see these jeans on repeat over the next few weeks!

Good Morning readers, I know that today isn’t really a coat kind of day in Louisiana, but it isn’t quite spring yet either. We still have a few more scattered cold days coming through before we can officially toss our coats in. Until then I encourage you to keep you eye out for great winter coat sales. Now is the time to start checking to see if your favorite coat has finally gone on sale. If it hasn’t yet, trust me… it won’t be long! I know we each have a coat or winter accessory that we coveted all season long but just couldn’t justify splurging on a piece that will only be worn a few months out of the year. The good news is that there is still a chance you can get it on sale and you might even get a few wears out of it before you have to pack it up for next winter. My only little bit of advice to you is that you don’t go crazy on something too trendy. You’re much better off investing in classic piece that you can wear in years to come. There is no reason to buy something on sale just because it’s on sale.

Good Morning readers, have you ever thought about adding a pop of color to your outfit with a pair of sunglasses? I bet you haven’t! I hadn’t thought of it either until the idea hit me in the middle of a photo shoot while I was trying to figure out how to liven up this black and white outfit. I had just scooped up these awesome new shades with a Christmas gift card and I thought why the heck not! Just as I had suspected, the sunglasses worked like a charm! These Rayban flash lens sunglasses not only add a hint of color to the outfit, but they also give the look that “cool” factor.
