Good Morning readers, I hope you’re all having a great week so far and have been enjoying me recent posts. Today I’ve teamed up with local Baton Rouge blogger, Krystal Bennet of A Pinch of Lovely to show you two totally different ways to wear python print. Here we’ve put together two types of styles with Haute Off The Rack strutting a sassy, yet sophisticated look and A Pinch of Lovely showing off a fun and quirky side to snake print.  I chose to wear my Tart Collections Maryse python print dress, which fits like a glove and gives off a sassy vibe.  It literally hugs your every curve, but in a figure-flattering, comfortable way.  Tart Collections always produces the softest most comfortable fabrics.  I swear I could sleep in this dress!  To style it I decided to go for a nude shoe considering the busyness of the print and a cropped, white blazer to create a breaking point in the pattern. For jewelry, I stuck with simple necklaces, an everyday two-tone watch and my J. Crew pave link bracelet.

Save the best for last. Whether you’re spending New Year’s Eve at home with close friends and a few bottles of champagne, watching the ball drop in Times Square, or partying at an exclusive VIP event, go out with a bang wearing the best outfit you’ve got. To make your night special, I’ve put together a little New Year’s Eve checklist to help everything run smoothly.

Ladies’ Checklist
1) Ladies, instead of stressing yourself over putting an outfit together, just find a show-stopping dress. It’s an outfit all in one. Just don’t forget to accessorize.

2) Wear at least one sparkly piece of statement jewelry, like these pave tassel earrings from C. Wonder featured in F is For Fashion, and guarantee that all eyes will be on you.

3) If you’re hoping for the perfect New Year’s kiss at midnight, don’t forget to spray on some perfume to smell great all night long.  My new favorite scent is L.I.L.Y by Stella McCartney.

4) Complete your New Year’s look with the perfect sparkly or embellished clutch. Not only will it jazz up your outfit, but it’s also the perfect place to stash your makeup essentials for quick touch-ups throughout the night. Don’t forget to pack some lip balm to keep your lips nice and smooth for that midnight kiss.

Good Morning readers, are you ready for tonight? I know I am! New Years Eve is always an eventful night for me, or at least it has been for the past six years considering that it’s my boyfriend’s birthday and our six year anniversary.  This year we’ve got plans to ring in the New Year New Orleans style with some friends.  I’m not really wearing this outfit tonight, but I know how much you all love this feather skirt so I figured I’d style it for you just one more time.  I actually wore this skirt for New Years last year to the New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center and surprisingly enough, it held up pretty well.  If you want to see this year’s outfit, make sure to follow me on Instagram @hauteofftherack for an exclusive first look.
