H&M Shreveport is Finally Open!

All Clothing & Accessories are from H&M Shreveport
Good Morning readers, yesterday I had the honor and pleasure of hosting the Grand Opening of H&M at Mall St. Vincent in Shreveport with Krystal from A Pinch of Lovely. We had so much fun picking out our favorite pieces of clothing and accessories and interacting with all of the guests waiting in line via social media. We even held a social media contest where we asked all of the people waiting in line to post a #selfie using the hashtag #HMlovesShreveport. Five #selfie winners received H&M gift cards and got early access to shop the store before they opened the doors to the public at noon. I took a few selfies of my own in the dressing room to show everyone some sneak peeks before the store opened! Everyone’s favorite look seemed to be the fuzzy pink sweater with the faux fur vest and floppy hat so I chose that look for the event! If you don’t have an H&M nearby, you can find all of these pieces online at hm.com

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had great weekend! My weekend was full of work, work, work and more work! I’ve been super busy preparing for my live fashion segment with WBRZ News this Tuesday, the Avenue Rouge Runway Fashion Show that I’m co-hosting with A Pinch of Lovely Thursday and Shop Your City Day which I’m covering this Saturday for the NOLA Fashion Council. Follow along with Haute Off The Rack & A Pinch Of Lovely on social media to stay in the know!
Make sure to watch WBRZ News channel 2 at 4 pm on Tuesday, Sept. 24th to catch the Haute Off The Rack Fall Five! I’ll be talking about shoes and handbags for Fall!
As for the ARRunway, you still have 2 days left to submit a photo to the #DiscoverYourColor contest for a chance to win two elite tickets ($200 value) to the ARRunway show. The winner will be chosen and notified Wednesday, the day before show. We hope everyone who wanted to attend the runway show were able to get tickets, but if you can’t make it to make the show, don’t you worry because Krystal of A Pinch of Lovely and I will be offering live coverage this year with our amazing camera crew, Launch Media! Watch us live at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26th from Avenue Rouge’s site as we interview special guests and give you the inside scoop on who is best dressed.
Last, but not least, I am so excited to announce that A Pinch of Lovely and I will be the correspondents for NOLAFW’s Shop Your City Day again this season! What’s even more exciting is that there some amazing guest bloggers hosting style events at each of the boutiques involved in Shop Your City Day. Learn all about what’s in style this season by following Haute Off The Rack & A Pinch Lovely via social media. We’ll be giving you coverage throughout the day starting with hair and makeup at Paris Parker salon leading all the way to all four boutiques! You’ll even get to see the guest bloggers’s favorite items in the stores as well as our picks too!
Learn more about these guest bloggers over the next week on A Pinch of Lovely and Haute Off The Rack.

Good Morning readers, what do you think of Jazz Fest look #2? As you can see I’m a huge fan of fringe and Jazz Fest is the perfect excuse to dust off all of your fringe clothing and accessories. For this look, I used my highlighter studded bag to pull out the bright orange color in the tee and the color of my nails. Speaking of my nails, I’ve been getting a lot of inquires about the color, but I actually have no idea what the color is called. However, I do know that Tart Deco by Essie is very similar to this neon hue and I definitely recommend adding it to your collection of summer polishes.
Also, if you really like this fringe top and you don’t like the one similar that I shared above, you should try making one yourself with just a plain scoop neck tee from Walmart and some bright colored paint. Just snip the ends of the tee to create the fringe and voilà! You’ve made your very own Jazz Fest top! Plus you won’t have to worry about running in to anyone with the same outfit!
