H&M Shreveport is Finally Open!
All Clothing & Accessories are from H&M Shreveport
Good Morning readers, yesterday I had the honor and pleasure of hosting the Grand Opening of H&M at Mall St. Vincent in Shreveport with Krystal from A Pinch of Lovely. We had so much fun picking out our favorite pieces of clothing and accessories and interacting with all of the guests waiting in line via social media. We even held a social media contest where we asked all of the people waiting in line to post a #selfie using the hashtag #HMlovesShreveport. Five #selfie winners received H&M gift cards and got early access to shop the store before they opened the doors to the public at noon. I took a few selfies of my own in the dressing room to show everyone some sneak peeks before the store opened! Everyone’s favorite look seemed to be the fuzzy pink sweater with the faux fur vest and floppy hat so I chose that look for the event! Good Morning readers, today we’re going out with new and in with the old! Yes, you read that right because I am referring to this gorgeous Victorian Book Chain circa 1890 with a Deco Dress Clip circa 1920s! I don’t know about you, but if I could have lived in a different era, I would most definitely choose the roaring 1920s. Just think, if we were living in the 1920s right now we’d all be decked out in feathers, jewels, flappers and ruby red lips without a care in the world! Sigh… Since, we can’t travel back in time, I found the next best thing, Vintage Green Jewelry! I mean, how stunning is this vintage gold leaf necklace! If you put it on an close your eyes, you just might hear Jazz music playing, glasses clinking and heels tapping. Sounds magical, right?
Do you remember when I styled it with matching separates here–> On Wednesdays, We Wear Pink. Even though the necklace looks like it should be worn with cocktail attire, I love the way it looks paired with a casual outfit for an unexpected twist. How would you style this necklace?

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend. I apologize for my lack of posts lately, but I had the weirdest thing happen to me! I had an allergic reaction to a medicine that I’ve been taking which caused me to have excruciating chest pain, persistent headaches, swelling of the mouth, difficulty breathing, trouble swallowing and tightness in the chest. Needless to say, those symptoms had me thinking that I was dying! Finally, we figured out what the issue was and I’m still alive! Anyway, I’m sure you didn’t really care about that, but I just thought I’d share that little experience from my weekend.
What’s more important here is this amazing Show Me Your Mumu outfit! The Roberts Party Pants are one of my favorite pieces by Show Me Your Mumu. They are so easy and comfortable while still chic and eye catching. I love a good pair of lightweight pants for the spring to pair with breezy tanks and layers of necklaces. This is such an easy boho-chic look. The floppy hat added the perfect touch to the look and depending on where you’re going, either of these Gigi New York handbags will compliment the outfit.

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I’m still recovering from all of the mosquito bites that I got from shooting on the farm with Kaela and Tina, but at least all of the photos were worth it. You can see for yourself on today’s post. Oh the things I do for Haute Off The Rack….Anyway, I wanted to share both of these new jewelry designs with you by Bijoutiere and Reagan Charleston Design because I love how they both added a modern twist to the classic pearl.
Bijoutiere gave her pearl necklaces a hint of edge by stringing the pearls onto a soft cognac leather and tying them into lariats. These simple leather and pearl lariats can be worn several different ways, which makes them super versatile. Plus you can even wear them as bracelets too. Style Tips: Pair these pearl lariats with jeans and plain tee for an effortlessly chic look or wear them with embroidered dresses for a cool bohemian vibe.

As for Reagan Charleston Design, every time I see Reagan lately she’s wearing a new piece of her jewelry that I of course always want. As of most recently, it’s her long strands of champagne pearls and gold dipped quartz necklaces that have really been catching my eye. I just love how she adds a gold dipped quartz to her pearl necklaces and bracelets for a more modern touch. I personally like layering the champagne pearls with the “Jennifer” necklace on an antique chain for a vintage-like feel.
