Good Morning readers, I apologize for my lack of blog posts lately, but I’ve added a quite a few new responsibilities to my plate so I’m still trying to get organized. Don’t you worry though because I have a ton of exciting giveaways and features planned for Haute Off The Rack coming soon including a cool video that I filmed in New Orleans yesterday with Heritage 1221 Cinema to show you some New Orleans fun and behind the scenes footage of my photo shoots with Kaela Rodehorst Photography.
Today’s look is the perfect kind of transitional outfit for our crazy Louisiana weather. It’s chilly enough for a light sweater and jeans, but warm enough to wear caged heels and to go without a jacket. I recommend wearing light wash denim and pastel or bright-colored sweaters to give your outfit more of a spring-time feel. You can also start using all of your spring accessories like this white baby croc handbag from Kelly Wynne’s spring collection. Speaking of white accessories, it’s all the rage this season!

Good Morning readers and welcome to Day 12 of Haute Off The Rack’s Island Getaway. This is my second swimwear post with Think Twice Style and A Pinch of Lovely, and I have to say that this one is by far my favorite. I love all of the fun colors and considering that I’m leaving for a cruise to Mexico this weekend, I felt it appropriate to break out the maracas! You know how much I love to bring out the maracas to celebrate with. We pretty much laughed the entire photo shoot while dancing as I shook the maracas.
Packing Tips: If you aren’t 100 percent confident about having your legs exposed while walking around in a bathing suit, pack a few high-waisted maxi skirts to wear as swimsuit coverups. If you don’t have any maxi skirts, I highly recommend this Mumu skirt because it comes in a variety different prints and colors and it’s wrinkle-free, which makes it easy to pack.
