Good Morning readers, Cinco de Mayo is less than a week away and since it’s one of our most favorite festive holidays, Krystal of A Pinch of Lovely and I decided to put this fun Cinco de Mayo style post together for you. Don’t worry! No piñatas were harmed in the making of these photos minus Krystal’s head a few times! Just kidding! It was close when I had the blind fold on though!
Anyway, I plan wearing these festive matching seperates by Show Me Your Mumu for Cinco de Mayo. I’m a huge fan of matching separates, but in the case that you aren’t, I have also styled these shorts with a different top, which is coming to the blog soon.
I’m going to end this post here because I’m in the middle of babysitting my one-and-a-half-year-old “fairy” God child and she’s currently trying to feed her baby doll the lunch that she is supposed to be eating herself! This is of course after she fed my purse an entire bag of goldfish when I wasn’t looking. Please excuse me while I go empty out my gold fish filled handbag and scrape all of the turkey off all of the baby dolls’ faces.

As for this outfit, I decided to give this simple navy tank a twist of style and paired it with my white asymmetrical skort from Zara and my mint python minaudiere from C. Wonder. Speaking of C. Wonder, how fabulous is this mint python handbag!! I love how it pulls the whole look together and complements the white and navy so perfectly. For shoes and accessories, I wore my nude ankle strap heels to really lengthen my legs and my C. Wonder initial necklace with plenty of arm candy. I think this look is so effortlessly chic and goes to show how easy it is to take a simple tank up a notch. What are your thoughts on this look?

Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend and Mother’s Day! I had an excellent weekend thanks to everyone who came out to the Haute Off The Rack and Candy Apple Popup Shop at Studio 311 Salon. The event was a great success and we really appreciated your business. I can’t wait to host another one!
For those of you who missed the popup, the Crystal Knot necklace by Dotted Tusk that I’m wearing in today’s post is actually one of the pieces that we gave away at the end of the popup shop. We also gave away a turquoise statement necklace from Candy Apple. About this outfit, I was shooting for a dressy-casual look with these denim mint shorts and so I decided to pair them with some matching mint wedges and a blowzy white top. Then I accessorized with my fancy Crystal Knot necklace, a few pastel-colored bracelets and my white Rebecca Minkoff-inspired bag from Candy Apple. I think this look could easily transition from day to night. What are your thoughts? How do you dress up your colored denim while still keeping it simple?

Good Morning readers, I’m so excited for the popup shop tonight at Studio 311 Salon from 5:30 to 8:30 pm on 311 East Gibson St. in Covington. Everything will be under $60, starting with this beaded necklace for only $7! I hope to see everyone there! Oh, and did I mention that you’ll have a chance to win two necklaces at the event? As for the outfit, I think this beaded necklace looks great styled with casual pieces. So I chose a pair of denim cutoffs and a white blowzy top with my studded cognac wedges. I added a pop of color with the black and white beach tote decorated with neon pompoms. I also love how the necklace matched perfectly with my Kendra Scott Skylar earrings. I’m usually not to keen on “matchy matchy” jewelry, but in this case I think it worked really well.
