The Jennifer Shirt Dress is comfortable, versatile and effortlessly chic, which is no surprise since it was especially designed with my Haute Off The Rack girls in mind. This dress will take you from the work week to the weekend and everything in between. It features an adjustable hidden waist tie, 3/4 sleeves, side pockets and buttons all the way down the front so you can wear it open! I made sure to choose a breathable fabric for summer that is also wrinkle resistant too. When it comes to styling the dress, wear it casually with sandals and a hat or dress it up with heels and a belt. You can even throw it over cutoff shorts and a tank for an everyday summer look. Sizing:

Be sure to size down because Gibsonlook runs large. I sized up to the small while pregnant, but I usually wear the size XXS and it’s still comfortable and spacious enough to move around in. I designed the Jennifer Shirt Dress with a slight high-low hem so you can get that mini dress look in the front without worry about it being too short in the back when you bend over.

Good Morning readers, I’m so excited to introduce you to my new Fall intern, Danielle Steib. This is Danielle’s first year as a student at Louisiana State University so I figured she’d make a great new rep on campus for Haute Off The Rack. She’ll be like my little insider to the college scene so I can stay in-the-know with what kind of trends the college students are into these days. This way I can create more helpful blog posts for all ages! I try my best to tap into all of the different age groups.

Also, as a part of Haute Off The Rack’s internship, Danielle and I will collaborate once month together to style and outfit for her to feature on hauteofftherack.com. Some of Danielle’s other internship duties include: attending a few local fashion events with me, assisting with a couple of photo shoots and of course helping me stay in-the-know with the college crowd!

For Danielle’s outfit feature this month, we decided to go with an LSU game day outfit to help the college students figure out what to wear this weekend and for the first home game next weekend! We chose a purple strapless romper because it’s easy and doesn’t require much styling, yet it’s still flattering and effortlessly chic! Plus it’ll keep you cool and comfortable in this Louisiana heat! We paired it with some gladiator sandals and some dainty layered necklaces. We completed the look with a Lilac Loren Hope Bracelet from Mint Boutique in Baton Rouge, LA. Make sure to also finish off your look with some SPF next weekend before heading out to tailgait! Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend. Mine was full work work work! I’ve been so crazy busy lately trying to plan out my Island Getaway looks and my fashion segment on WBRZ news this Wednesday at 4pm (channel 2)! I have barely had any time to put together blog posts for you all these past few days, but not to worry because I’m about to launch Haute Off The Rack’s Island Getaway series.

I could really use a little retail therapy right now. If I could I would cross off all of these items on my current Summer Haute List and I would add the entire Show Me Your Mumu Pool Party collection (pictured below) to my summer wardrobe. What about you? What is on you summer haute list?
