Pink Linen Blazer + Cutoff Shorts
Happy Sunday everyone, I hope you’re still making the most of your weekend! I just wanted to pop in share all the details on this Joules outfit you all loved I recently posted on my Instagram. I got so much feedback from this outfit, but I wasn’t able to link to everything with Liketoknow.it (aka my coveted pink linen blazer) so I figured I would share the links here.
First off, in case you didn’t know, blazers are having a huge moment right now especially in fun colors and prints like this pink linen blazer by Joules. I paired mine with platform wedges and a pair of cutoff shorts for a hint of edge. Then I knotted the front of my striped top to maintain the edgy vibe of the outfit.

Studded Sandals + Cutoff Shorts
Hi everyone, today I’ve teamed up with Sole Society to style your everyday cutoff shorts with one of this season’s hottest shoe trends: studded sandals! I’ve personally always gravitated towards studded shoes and accessories. However, sometimes studded details can look over-the-top, but I think these studded sandals from Sole Society have just the right amount of sparkle to them. Oh and they also come in a heeled version too, which I love as well. The flat sandals are great for everyday wear and perfect all of you Spring Breakers who are heading to the beach.

Good Morning readers, we are so excited to introduce you to Merienda, the first on-demand picnic delivery service. In partnership with Brady’s Wine Warehouse and St. James Cheese Company, Merienda offers curated picnic experiences encouraging outdoor recreation and the use of New Orleans’ ample local parks and green space.
“This picnic trifecta is the first of its kind and offers New Orleanians the finest in picnic experiences, ranging from the affordable $45 “Classic” picnic and concierge service to the $1,000 “Platinum” picnic of your dreams.” -Andrea
Interesting Fact: The name Merienda, which means picnic in Spanish leads back to the owner’s hispanic roots of Honduras.
If you’re interested in enjoying this very same delicious picnic beneath the beautiful southern oaks of New Orleans City Park, you’re in luck because A Pinch of Lovely and I are currently hosting a Merienda Picnic giveaway on Instagram. While we were picnicking, we realized we were missing something, YOU! We are so appreciate of each and everyone of you for following along with all of our blog adventures. In fact, most of them wouldn’t even be possible without you so we’d love to share some of the amazing moments with you and not just on social media, but in person!!! We want to get to know as many of you as we can so we are going to start hosting monthly brunches, lunches, dinners, coffee dates, you name it just to hang out with you guys.
We are so excited to take you out to our favorite spots around town to wine and dine you. Don’t worry if you don’t live near us because the locations will often change as we travel, but this first one will require the winner (and a guest) to be available in or around the New Orleans area for the picnic. Where would you like us to take you next? Let us know your ideas by emailing us at jenn.hauteofftherack@gmail.com or apinchoflovely@gmail.com.

Striped Shirt + Denim Cutoffs
It really is so funny to think about how much I used to hate striped clothing! I know I say that all the time, but there really was a time when I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing a striped shirt and now days I scoop up any stripes I see! I have a striped romper, striped button down, striped tank, striped cardigan, striped dress, you name it! Lately, I have been loving my new striped shirt from Brothers on the BLVD! I like to wear it with both distressed jeans and cutoff shorts.

About this look: If you’ve been looking for a lightweight long-sleeve shirt for summer, I highly recommend Rails Hunter Button Downs! They are super comfortable and fit loosely yet flattering at the same time. Brothers on the BLVD has a variety of them here–> Rails I also wear this brand a lot during the fall, but they make a ton of great spring and summer patterns in light colors too!
