Hi everyone! Today, Krystal from A Pinch of Lovely and I wanted to prove to you that tulle skirts work for both petite and tall women! I am 5 ft tall and Krystal is 5’9! My skirt is 22′ inches long and Krystal’s skirt is 25 inches long. However, petite women can still get away with wearing both lengths! These outfits are perfect for her holiday parties, Christmas Eve and even New Year’s Eve! Krystal and I styled our tulle skirts with neutrals and metallics for a classic and elegant look with hint of sass!

In case you’re wondering where else you can wear your tulle skirt other than just the Christmas holidays, you can style it casually with a graphic tee like Carrie Bradshaw or you can save it for other special occasions like birthdays, Valentine’s Day, bridal showers and even fancy spring soirees! I also love seeing tulle styled in engagement shoots! They make killer photos! We took these photos from the observation tower at the Omni Royal Orleans Hotel in the French Quarter during our “style-cation” in New Orleans. The view from the rooftop is absolutely beautiful! It overlooks the entire city and you even have a clear view of the St. Louis Cathedral!

Good Morning readers, yesterday I had the honor and pleasure of hosting the Grand Opening of H&M at Mall St. Vincent in Shreveport with Krystal from A Pinch of Lovely. We had so much fun picking out our favorite pieces of clothing and accessories and interacting with all of the guests waiting in line via social media. We even held a social media contest where we asked all of the people waiting in line to post a #selfie using the hashtag #HMlovesShreveport. Five #selfie winners received H&M gift cards and got early access to shop the store before they opened the doors to the public at noon. I took a few selfies of my own in the dressing room to show everyone some sneak peeks before the store opened! Everyone’s favorite look seemed to be the fuzzy pink sweater with the faux fur vest and floppy hat so I chose that look for the event! Good Morning readers, whether you’re petite or tall, I know this grey skirt will fit nicely into your fall wardrobe. This simple flippy skirt is one of my favorite pieces in my closet right now because it so comfortable and versatile plus it’s still warm enough to show off your bare legs. As you can see, Krystal and I both styled this skirt two different ways and we’re both completely different heights, which goes to show that the flippy skirt trend works for almost all shapes and sizes. Krystal is 5″9 and pencil thin and I am 5 ft with a little more curve and hip action. Will you be rocking a floppy skirt this fall?

Good Afternoon readers and Happy Sunday! I hope you’re all having a nice weekend. Today, I’m finally sharing the last of my New York Fashion Week photos with you. I thought I’d save the best for last! For me, one of the best parts about blogging and attending NYFW is all of the new friends I have made in the fashion world from Charlotte, North Carolina and New York, New York to Newport Beach, California and Austin, Texas. The list goes on! I’ve met so many amazing girls who I’m lucky enough to now call my friends. I love being able to share some of the biggest moments of my life (fashion blogging life that is) with these sweet and talented women. We had the best time in New York and I can’t wait to be back in the city at the end of the month for a special surprise announcement! I’m so excited to tell you!!!
