Happy Friday friends! This time next week we’ll be kicking off the holiday weekend and gearing up for all of the 4th of July festivities. We celebrated the launch of my latest design with a fun 4th of July🇺🇸 themed party with all of our friends and their families! Today I’m sharing all of my party ideas, recipes and decorations to share with you to hopefully inspire your own upcoming holiday plans.

The 4th of July is actually the inspiration behind the Jennifer Babydoll Dress. I wanted a cute navy gingham print mini dress that I could wear off the shoulder to a 4th of July party and other summer events so I partnered with Gibsonlook to create the perfect babydoll dress.

The Jennifer Babydoll Dress is fun, flirty and so chic with a smocked bust and statement puff sleeves. I designed it so that the puff sleeves can be worn on or off the shoulder and both ways look so flattering on the arms and neckline. I know this will be a go-to dress for parties, summer trips, date nights, wedding festivities and so much more. It’s especially perfect for the 4th of July weekend coming up next weekend.

Sizing: Be sure to size down! I’m wearing the sz XXS and it fits perfectly. The bust is smocked so it’s super stretchy! No zippers! These are all of our best friends that we’ve grown up with and now our kids will get to grow up together too.

The American flag on our front porch is a size 3 x 5 and we had to buy the tangle free spinning pole and mounting brackets separately.

Easy & Delicious 4th of July Cake Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 roll of Pillsbury Sugar Cookie Dough

1 container of Vanilla icing (cool whip is also delicious too if you keep your cake refrigerated)

1 container of fresh blueberries

1 large container of fresh strawberries

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 and roll out your cookie dough onto a small rectangle cookie sheet

Step 2: Bake for 20 minutes & slice your strawberries while you wait

Step 3: Let your cookie cake cool or put in freezer to speed up the process

Step 4: Icing your cake with your vanilla frosting

Step 5: Decorate your cake in an American flag pattern with your blueberries and strawberries. Be sure to keep in the fridge until you’re ready to serve.

| 4th of July Favors for the Kids |

I filled mini tin buckets with bubbles, red, white and blue beach balls, a small American flag and a patriotic pinwheel to entertain the kids. I used chalkboard stickers to label the buckets with all of their names for a personal touch. The bubbles kept them happy and entertained along with the Jump n’ Slide bouncer that we blew for the kids to play on. I also always pull out basketball, golf, T-Ball, and corn hole for the kids to play with outdoors.

4th of July Charcuterie Board Ingredients:

Meats & Cheeses: Salami, Prosciutto, Blueberry goat cheese, Gouda, Manchego, Boursin

Fruit: Strawberries, Cherries, Blueberries, Grapes, Raspberries

Sweets: White chocolate covered pretzels, Chocolate covered almonds, Red, white & blue M&M’s, Hershey’s Cookies & Cream chocolate

For Dipping:

Nur’s Kitchen Hummus (aka the best!)

3 different types/shapes of crackers

*** We forgot to include cherry tomatoes & red bell peppers for dipping in the hummus! It’s also so good if you sprinkle feta & chopped tomatoes on top of your hummus!

How adorable is this luxury picnic setup by @partyteepeezz? We used a bunch of my lanterns and decor from At Home Stores and World Market.

All of our outdoor furnture is from World Market a few years ago. The American flag on the back patio is a size 5 x 8 and we hung it with command hooks.

We made these s’mores goodie bags for the kids with clear treat bags and ribbon and filled them with 2 graham crackers, 2 mini Hershey chocolate bars and 2 large marshmallows. Perfect little summer treat!

1) Outdoor Stemless Wine Glasses — First things first, let’s be real here you can’t truly enjoy being outdoors in the blazing summer heat without a refreshing drink or some rosé in hand so I put these custom outdoor stemless wine glasses first on the list. I love how you can personalize them with your initials and even choose from a few different colors. The best part though is the fact that they’re plastic so you don’t have to worry yourself or your guests dropping and shattering any of your nice glassware.

4) Custom Bean Bag Toss — Keep your kids and guests entertained while you prepare the food with this custom bean bag toss. The game is super easy to set up and fun for all ages.

5 & 6) BBQ Tool Set — Get your grill master all set up with all the tools he/she needs complete with a BBQ Carving Board — I actually used my carving board to set out all of the fixings for the hamburgers and hot dogs at our last cook out. And now we have it on display behind our stove in the kitchen so it has multiple uses!

7) Personalized Doormat — I got one of these personalized doormats as a wedding gift and I loved it so much and that I decided to get one for our backyard with both of our initials. It helps with my fear of people tracking dirt into the house during parties.

8) Bamboo Lacquer Tray— Last, but not least…dessert! Just like the BBQ carving board, this bamboo lacquer tray has multiple uses. I passed around dessert on the tray, but you can also use it as a drink station, snack station or even for decorating your coffee table or console table.
