Good Morning readers and Happy Friday! How cute are these White Elephant Designs Mardi Gras cups! They’re perfect for hosting parties during Carnival season! They also make great host gifts as well. In case you missed my first Mardi Gras Party post, you can view it here–> I’m on the King Cake Diet
What is the best New Orleans Mardi Gras cocktail you ask? To me, it’s none other than a Zing Zang Bloody Mary! As promised, today Krystal and I are sharing our favorite recipes for the best New Orleans style Bloody Mary’s! In my book, the most important ingredients other than vodka are the Zing Zang mix and the spicy beans. Just give me some King Cake, Zing Zang and spicy beans and I’m good for the whole day! What is your favorite Bloody Mary ingredient? We’d also love to hear your recipes too! Check out my recipe below:
Grey Goose & Zing Zang Bloody Mary
- 2.5 oz. Zing Zang
- 2 pinches salt
- 2 pinches pepper
- 0.6 fl. oz. of Grey Goose Vodka
- 1 squeeze of lime
- Shake with ice in a cocktail shaker. Strain into your White Elephant Designs Mardi Gras Cup! Garnish with spicy beans, olives and a celery stalk. You can always squeeze a little more lime at the end too! At least I always do!
- Drink up!
