How To Rock The Embroidered Shoe Trend

Hi everyone, I recently showed you how to style colorful sandals for summer with Sole Society and today I’m sharing three tips on how to rock the embroidered shoe trend! This trend rolled out last fall and it doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere soon so I say it’s time for you to roll up your sleeves and try it out for yourself. Scroll through this post for tips and to see how I styled my embroidered mules.

  1. Don’t play it safe! The embroidered shoe trend is fun and edgy so keep it that way!  Don’t just pair them with a little black dress. Throw on your favorite ripped jeans or cutoff shorts with a cropped top or graphic tee.

2. Avoid wearing additional statement pieces that will compete with the shoes. It’s totally ok to style your embroidered shoes with other prints and patterns, but just take few steps back in the mirror and ask yourself if it looks like too much going on. And be honest with yourself! I also suggest wearing a color on top from the pattern of the shoes to really make that hue pop.

3. Don’t overpay for trendy items like these embroidered mules! Keep it under $100 like this pair for only $84 from Sole Society! Also, if you aren’t quite ready for the embroidered look yet, but you’re ready to take on color, these shoes are also available in solid yellow too.
