Vibrant Prints by Nicole Miller

Photos by: Max Zoghbi

Outfit: Nicole Miller printed one shoulder dress from Park Lane,  The Dee Keller Fairley heel in nude available at Park Lane

Accessories: Cat eye sunglasses (Urban Outfitters), Black fringe purse from Brenchley

Heatwave lipstick (Nars)

Jewelry: Pink and yellow rope bracelet (Tory Burch), Gold cuff (Banana Republic) old, but similar (here)

About this dress:  I picked this bright “flowy” dress out in October of 2011 at Dallas market while we were scoping out the Nicole Miller Spring 2012 collection.  I just fell in love with the vibrant colors and thought it would be perfect for Spring Break as a possible Easter outfit!  Since there was so much going on with the dress, I felt it was best to pair it with a neutral heel.  I think the Dee Keller Fairley fit that characteristic perfectly! What do you think?  By the way if you’re not in to dresses this print also comes in a loose fitted top and romper by Nicole Miller!

I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.  My weekend was long and full of work, but Dee Keller turned it into a great weekend when she informed me of her new shipment of handbags from her factories Italy.  I met with her bright and early Sunday morning to pick one up and let me tell me you… This purse is absolutely fabulous!  It is a beautiful tan, structured leather tote with exquisite detailing including her DK logo in gold hardware.  You will see it in numerous of my outfits posts to come, but until then here are a few pictures below!

If you’re interested in purchasing this gorgeous handbag, please contact Dee Keller at Deekeller4@gmail.com or her daughter Brighton at Brighton.keller@gmail.com.  You can check out Brighton’s blog to see how she has already styled this purse.

P.S.  I know this outfit is a tad pricey, but make sure to follow my Impress for Less board on Pinterest for the Best Bargain Buys under $100!

Have an excellent day!

Hi everyone!  I hope you all had a great start to your weekend.  Mine is full of work work work, but I’m so glad that next weekend is the beginning of Easter break so hopefully I’ll have a nice relaxing few days.  I’ll post a styled board of Easter outfits at some point this week to give you some ideas.  Anyway, back to the outfit… This French Connection shift dress is absolutely stunning in person.  The lace crocheted material gives the dress a vintage vibe, and you can’t help but notice the beautiful scalloped detail throughout the fabric.  I have always been a huge fan of French Connection becuase they create such classic pieces while still maintaining a fresh and innovative style.

I of course added some color by pairing it with my Bijoutiere earrings, and one of my favorite pairs of Dee Keller shoes, the Kelly in teal suede. You’ll see my other favorite Dee Keller shoes styled in different outfits very soon!  If you’re interested in purchasing these shoes please contact Dee Keller at DeeKeller4@gmail.com!

Jewelry/Accessories:  black fringe purse (Brenchley),  Virgins Saints and Angels necklace (Eros),

Brass gold earrings (Forever 21),  Gold and horn watch (Michael Kors)

Morning everyone!  I picked up this skirt from Rodeo in Baton Rouge and just had to show you!  It’s such a fabulous skirt!  I paired it with on of my favorite tops from LF that I bought a few summers back in La Jollla, California.  If you’ve never been to an LF store I highly recommend finding the nearest location to you!

P.S. You know I had to add a pop of color somewhere so I used a matted red lipstick called Shanghai Express by Nars.  Lipstick is such a great way to incorporate some color into your outfit!

Good Morning everyone!  This is the exquisite jewelry from Bijoutiere I told you about a while back, and I’m so excited to finally share it with you.  Jewelry designers, Donna Guidry and Mary Irwin of California sent me a few pieces from their Spring 2012 collection to feature on my blog.  I find that these particular collections are very easy to style into your everyday wardrobe.  The designs I chose to feature are casual customized pieces that you can add to any ordinary outfit for a fun unique flair.

Bijoutiere provides their customers with quality handmade jewelry giving each piece its own individual and feminine touch.  Designer duo Donna and Mary really take their service above and beyond by making themselves available to design “custom pieces that are as individual as you” (www.bijoutiereinc.com).  I actually own a necklace from Bijoutiere that was custom designed just for me as a Christmas present from someone I’m very close with, which makes it very special to me.

Donna’s one of a kind designs have even made appearances in movies, TV shows, commercials and on celebrities such as actors, Sasha Pieterse from Pretty Little Liars, Boo Boo Stewart from Twilight and Kirsten Storms featured in Runway magazine.

A few of Bijoutiere’s collections currently includes: Lace & Grace, Diamond Dogs, Charmed…I’m Sure, Jammin’ Jewels, Shimmer and Shine, and Faith and Hope.  According to their website, all eleven collections are available in sterling silver and gold (yellow, rose, white).   Donna and Mary say that “Bijoutiere designs are constantly evolving and we believe will stand the test of time, today and years from now” (www.bijoutiereinc.com).  Make sure to visit their website and Facebook page if you’re interested in their jewelry.

**Don’t miss out on today’s deal!! Donna is offering 40% OFF the jewelry for all of my subscribers!**

The bracelet and earrings above are from their Hot Roks collection which is one of my favorites.  Donna and Mary were so sweet to gift me this pair of earrings and a Faith and Hope necklace so you’ll be seeing them in quite a few of my future outfit posts!

I also absolutely adore the bracelets below from their Island Fantaseas collection.  Which bracelet do you like?

I hope you enjoyed my post about this fabulous jewelry line.  Donna’s career story really serves as an inspiration to me, not because she is a jewelry designer, but because she started out designing jewelry in a small town called Bogalusa, Louisiana and took her dreams to the next level.  She now resides in California with her own company and sells to multiple retailers and to customers through her online web site. AND not only does she design jewelry for celebrities; she’s quite the celebrity herself.   She’s appeared in movies, TV shows, commercials and has even done some modeling.  Her jewelry line is definitely worth checking out.  Make sure to see her collection at http://www.bijoutiereinc.com

P.S.  The girl pictured in the post with me is my next F.I.F (Fashion Inspiration Feature): Meghan Price.  Get ready to see more of her later this week!

Have a wonderful day!
