Celebrating 15 Years of Fashion with Elaine Turner

The best kind of anniversaries always include a celebration, a SALE and if it’s super special…a limited edition handbag! In case you don’t already know, I’m referring to Elaine Turner’s 15th Anniversary! Since A Pinch of Lovely and I have been collaborating with Elaine Turner for the past couple of years and even visited with her during fashion week last season, we were honored to join in celebrating Elaine’s 15 years of fashion design by sharing the new Celeste Satchel with you.  The new handbag is worn three different ways: a top handle, a crossbody and even a backpack!

Peep Toe Booties

Whether I’m rocking dresses, skirts or jeans, my favorite type of transitional shoes to wear are peep toe booties! They go with everything especially this taupe-grey color!

Good Morning readers, I hope you all enjoyed the weekend. I can’t believe that we’re already on our last full week of September. We’ll be in full fall mode before we know it, but until then I’ve got plenty of transitional outfit ideas for you like today’s ripped jeans, sleeveless vest and peep toe bootie look.

If you follow me Instagram, then you know that I referred the to these Isola Brinly Peep Toe Booties as the ultimate transitional shoe. The color and style makes the bootie super versatile and easy to style. I also love the lace up detail and zipper in the back for convenience.

Thank you to Isola Shoes for bringing you this post. All opinions are my own.

Hats Off to Johnny Was

Outfit: The Leatherette Legging Jean c/o (Thank you go AG Jeans), Black Floppy Hat (Thank you to Love) ox-blood Sheer blouse (Urban Outfitters), Lace-up Heeled Boots (oldJessica Simpson), Kanji Short Hoodie c/o (Thank you to Johnny Was) <– Currently on SALE!

Jewelry: Virgins Saints and Angels ring (Thank you to Park Lane), Cross Pendant Necklace (Love)

Good Morning readers, how great do these AG leatherette leggings look styled with the Johnny Was embroidered hoodie and ox-blood shirt! Hats off to Johnny Was for creating such beautifully embroidered cardigan.  The detail is exquisite!   I think the vibrant colors in the knit hoodie look stunning against the dark neutral colors and the ox blood shirt really makes the red in the cardigan pop.  I always love pairing leather pieces with casual clothing for an unexpected twist. As far as accessories, I jump at any chance I get to wear a hat!  I love fedoras, floppy beach hats, berets, wide-brimmed winter hats, you name it!  I just think it adds so much character to your outfit and gives you a little bit of a mysterious look.  What do you think?  Will you be wearing any kind of hats this season?

P.S. Make sure to check back tomorrow for a collaboration with Lockerz and Rent the Runway!

Good Morning readers, I hope you all gained a few new tips on yesterday’s post about statement pieces. I’m sorry for the lack of photos of my individual outfit, but we started losing light at this point in the photo shoot so I didn’t have many options to choose from.  For this look, Abbey and I decided to do a little maxi remix and pull out our summer maxi dresses to style for the fall.  It was pretty simple, all I did was take layer on a detailed leather jacket and a pair of lace-up heeled boots. Head over to District Dress Up to see more of Abbey’s look!
