Happy Sunday everyone, today I’m sharing one of my favorite transitional outfit combos to wear year round, but especially during August and September. In case you don’t already know, I live way down south in Louisiana where it’s always nice humid and hot. July and August are probably the two most brutal months and sometimes even September can bring on record breaking heat temperatures. So when it comes to wearing transitional outfits in between summer and fall, you can find me living in swing dresses and sleeveless jackets. I tend to buy them in mostly stripes and neutral colors like olive, tan, black, nude etc. I like to keep quite a few of them on hand so I was stoked when I found a huge, affordable selection of them at Nordstrom Rack. My newest favorite one has to be this Dee Elle Striped Swing Dress which is only $25 and currently available in all sizes. The Sleeveless Knit Dress and Mock Neck Dress in black are also two other great options to pair with the olive vest I styled in the photos below.
