Good Morning readers, how cool is this hoodie scarf by Johnny Was? I had honestly never even seen a scarf like this before until I came across the Manuelito in the Johnny Was Fall/Winter 2012 look book. I think it’s such a unique looking piece and I love the exquisitely detailed Aztec embroidery. To style the scarf, I chose to pair it with dark neutral-tone colors so that the red embroidery would really pop. I kept the jewelry simple and wore a long pendant tassel necklace by Dotted Tusk. I like the way the white Ray necklace stands out without distracting from the rest of the outfit. What do you think? Would you wear a hoodie scarf?
Just a side note, the scarf also looks great with distressed denim jeans and a plain white tee. It definitely adds a little boho-chic flair to a casual outfits.
