Good Morning readers, I hope you all had a great weekend full of warm sunny weather. We sure had some hot sunny weather here in Louisiana. It’s finally starting to feel like summer around here so if you haven’t felt ready to break out your shorts, tanks and swim suits now is the time.

I plan on wearing this Haute Hippie Longhorn tank even more casually than how I styled it here, but this is how I might transition it from day to night. I just added some wedges and a white blazer to you how you can clean up your casual summer time look without actually having to change your whole outfit.

Good Morning readers and congratulations to all of the 2013 graduates who will be receiving their diplomas this weekend including my younger sister who will be graduating from high school this Saturday! In honor of all the graduates, I felt it appropriate to put together an all white look that can be worn post ceremony. I think this all white outfit is the perfect after party look!

I bet you’re probably thinking that you’d never be interested in wearing a skort again, but how awesome is this white fold over skort from Zara! It’s so chic and fashion forward. I especially love how the asymmetrical hem in front adds a little modern touch to the old half skirt half shorts look.

For jewelry and accessories, I kept it simple and stuck with nude and classic silver pieces minus my white shark tooth and turquoise earrings by Give a Penny Designs. You know I always have to pop a color somewhere! Also, if you’re a fan of Elaine Turner, get excited for our upcoming collaboration and giveaway together.

Behind the Scenes of Mignon Faget

Good Morning readers, if you keep up with me on Instagram then you know that I had the pleasure of touring the Mignon Faget headquarters in New Orleans, Louisiana this past Tuesday. I got to meet the entire staff, see new and upcoming pieces and even watch jewelry production. I also learned that 95% of Mignon Faget jewelry is made here in the US and each peice is finished and put together right here in New Orleans at the headquarters on Magazine St. Needless to say, it was such a great experience and I can’t wait to style some Mignon jewelry on Haute Off The Rack.

Mignon Faget jewelry is made locally in New Orleans on magazine street. 95% of her jewelry is made in the US.

I got to choose a few pieces of jewelry to feature on Haute Off The Rack at the Mignon Faget flagship store including the Oyster Cocktail Ring that I’m wearing in this photo.

It was so hard to only choose a few pieces because they were all so beautiful and exquisite.

Good Morning readers, I’m so honored and excited because this look along with a few other looks of mine was featured in the La Mer Collections 2 Bloggers to Watch May email blast. I had originally planned this outfit for Jazz Fest, but I had to save it until after the La Mer Collections feature. However, this is still a great summer look and can definitely be worn to other music festivals this season.

Also, just a side note on these shorts…if you’ve been searching for the perfect pair of white cutoffs, these are them! The DL1961 Lola short is super comfortable with its 360 stretch and it is just long enough to still wear around the family.
