Good Morning readers, so what do you think of Penny Pincher Fashion?   Isn’t she amazing!  She has impeccable style and the best part is – it’s all affordable!  Plus she always looks so stunning and put together in everything she wears. The minute I saw her blog I was hooked.  Oh and get this- her husband takes all of her photos!  How sweet!

I asked her how she manages to run a full time blog with a husband and two kids because I don’t have either and I still struggle.  She said “You don’t want to know about my daily routine.  It’s crazy!”  Kimberly says that she wakes up early every morning before the rest of her family so she can read her favorite blogs, update her sales page and schedule her tweets for the day.  Fortunately, both of her kids are school-aged, so she has some free time during the day to exercise, shop or work on her posts for that week.  Since her husband also works from home he is available to take all of her gorgeous pictures. “We try to get those done during the week when the kids are in school, but it doesn’t always work that way thanks to our crazy winter weather, but we try!” she said.  Kimberly also does her best to take a step back from social media in the afternoon/evening so she can spend time with her family.  She said she enjoys being able to help the kids with homework and bake cookies with her daughter.  ”I want them to know they are my number one priority,” said Kimberly.

Well moms, there you have it!  A daily dose of Penny Pincher Fashion is all you need to help you stay stylish on budget and still have time for the kids!  Visit her blog at!

Have a great weekend!

Good Morning readers, now that you’ve met the glamorous and rocker-chic Rachel it’s time to meet down-to-earth, eclectic Katie.  Katie Elizabeth Dumestre is the co-founder of The Elizabeth Chronicles along with Rachel and even with their totally opposite sense of styles, they somehow make the perfect team.  Katie’s outfit is cool and eclectic from her mapped out cardigan and plain white tee to her sassy polka dot skirt and striped ankle socks.  I love how she mixed and matched different prints and patterns for a fun and quirky look.

Get ready to see both of these ladies’ talents combined on Monday when I present The Elizabeth Chronicles’ newest designer tee collection along with an exclusive interview by Haute Off The Rack!

Good Morning readers and welcome to Rachel Elizabeth Adams’ lovely home.  In early December, Kristen Soileau and I made the trip over to New Orleans to interview and photograph Rachel Elizabeth Adams and Katie Elizabeth Dumestre of The Elizabeth Chronicles to feature on Haute Off The Rack and Dig magazine.  When Kristen and I arrived to Rachel’s New Orleans style home, her southern hospitality immediately kicked in and she invited us inside for some refreshments and told us to make ourselves at home while she finished touching up.  She even allowed us to take photos of her beautiful home decor and her undeniably beautiful closet ornamented with jewelry, accessories and shoes galore.  Have a look for yourself…

After we finished touring the entire house and oohing and awing over Rachel’s amazing closet, we headed for magazine street to shoot Rachel and Katie’s personal style outfits.  I asked them to each choose and outfit that best represents their individual style because I wanted to introduce my readers to the talented women behind The Elizabeth Chronicles before posting their interview.  Rachel is rocking a pair of edgy leather leggings and ankle strap heels with a casual flowy top and a knit beret.   I like how she dressed up the casual top by layering on a few eye-catching necklaces, which draws attention to her deep V-neck line.  I’d say that she mixed sexy with casual perfectly.

Yesterday, I featured Gretchen in some casual work wear and today’s post is about how to take that look from day to night by just adding a few simple things.  First, Gretchen took down her hair and applied some lipstick to freshen up her look.  Next, she threw on a peach, boyfriend blazer and some nude heels.  Then, to complete the look she pulled a sequin clutch out of her work tote!  How simple is that!  If you like to freshen up a bit before having a few drinks after work without going home first, I recommend keeping these four items on hand:

1)   Boyfriend blazer – I think boyfriend blazers make any outfit look effortlessly chic.  I personally like colored blazers like my peach one that Gretchen is wearing pictured above, but a black or navy will do just fine!  Click (here) to find an inexpensive, colored blazer from Forever 21 to achieve the look!

2)   Nude pumps- To me, nude heels go with everything and even lengthen your legs.

3)  a Clutch-  I suggest keeping a fun colored clutch in your work tote to dress up your outfit; plus you won’t have to lug around large tote bag all night.

4)  Lipstick- I believe that lipstick is essential to completing your look.  It brightens up your whole face.  I like wearing colors that really pop like: Nars Heat WaveNars Shanghai Express or Fever by Hourglass Femme Rouge Velvet Creme.
